[ Not wasting time with the device, Clint, who's already out in the streets, heads straight over to the fountain and for once doesn't hold himself back.

He's missed having Amy around, which clearly justifies the fact he's stepping into her personal space and throwing his arms around her into a hug. It is how they met after all, and it can forever be their little inside joke. ]

( There's a moment of surprise, and the she's hugging back, grinning against his shoulder because it is their little inside joke, isn't it? It kind of is. )

Where the fuck have you been? Almost got me worried.

New York. ( She ends up laughing, hardly more than a reaction to stress. ) I've been in New York for years.

New York. [ Under different circumstances, he'd be jealous. ] Years? [ And, now, looking harder, he sees the slight changes. ] What's so important in New York you had to go and dump us for?

Rory's there. Remember the Weeping Angels?

[ For a second, Clint wonders if his hearing's failing him. But he's pretty sure he heard what he heard. ]

Did that end how I think it ended?

[ Why is everyone in this place that he gives a damn about dead out there? No matter how tight he holds on, he can't stop them getting taken back. ]

Not this once. ( A deep breath. ) It's not so bad, though. We're getting to live a full life, and we're together, Rory and I. Like it should be.

( She misses the Doctor so much. )

He taking good care of you? [ If he sounds a little quieter, sadder, than usual, he's trying not to let it show. ] 'Cause I'm more than willing to find a way out of here and over there to kick his ass if he's not.

Yeah. He does. ( And she of him. Hugging him a little tighter because she gets it, it sucks. )

[ He drops all pretences, this once, since the occasion calls for it, and he holds on tighter. ]

Glad we got you back. [ For as long as it lasts. ] It's been dull without you.

Yeah, I'm glad as well. ( She's missed him, too. Not as much as the Doctor, but, well. ) Back now. We'll get up to all kinds of stuff, I'm sure.

[ He's not going to hold it against her. The Doctor is pretty special. ] We better. I've got a stash of alcohol just begging to be drank.
