It flicks to video then, a sharp angled view of the cage floor and two sets of feet - back to back, or rather heel to heel. The image shakes as one set of feet makes the attempt to walk away (again) and the other feet scramble for leverage, but this only results in-- ]

[ The device's image shakes more as the bodies attached to the two sets of feet crash to the floor. Though you might have to squint at first, the floored pair is apparent: Sora and Vanitas, sewn back to back - which means Sora seems to have landed on his back, and because his back is sewn to Vanitas' back, well.... Vanitas has his face flat to the ground. ]

[ Given that Vanitas is attached to the back of him and vice versa, Sora does think to turn so that their profiles are to the stranger. Sora's eye slides toward him, a peripheral vision focused on him. ]

[ Sora for his part does all he can to shove he and Vanitas thus back/away/ANY variation thereof. This effectively moves them from the potential downward blow, though it's likely they hit the floor, perhaps even bumping right into the stranger's feet. ]

[He takes a step away to avoid the bumping and puts the sword down, raising an eyebrow.]

[ Some of his words are not quite words at first, just a garbled sound of surprise as he tries to wrestle the conjoined bodies upright again. ]

No! I mean yes! I mean...it just...that way seems...what if you missed? Or even if you didn't, that'd be cutting right through us...I mean it's not like cutting off rope or handcuffs or something.

[ He flails with one arm, emphatically, eyes wider than usual less an expression of fear though, much more just bewildered. Three Ring Circus here. But then, the stranger is only trying to be helpful...
