[ hi, sup City. how are you today? Vanitas is just great. he's got his mask on, although only half of it is visible since the camera's tilted to show the area behind him instead of Vanitas himself.

because that's definitely Roxas following behind him at a safe distance. he keeps it at that angle a moment longer, then-- towards his face ( mask ). ] I don't suppose strangling would be an appropriate way to dispose of this, would it?

[ fine, follow him. Vanitas will just lead Roxas Underground, into some dark alley, and keep walking from there. please just get attacked by something and die or whatever. ]

[ ...where are those freakish vampires. he can leave Roxas with those. ]

[ Somewhere inside, Roxas' soul is screaming. ]

[ scream louder, Roxas' soul. while Vanitas continues to-- walk away.

.. he can always summon his keyblade and make Roxas leave, too. ]

[ It's at this point that the Ventus police interferes - because firstly, no, eating ice cream together is something sacred to friends and Vanitas is not that, even if Roxas thinks so. Secondly, it's Vanitas, what the fuck is wrong with you.

Descending from his Keyblade Glider with a jump, Ventus steps in between the two of them. His mask comes off as he glares at his darker side in warning, before turning his head to Roxas in concern; ]

Are you okay, Roxas?

[ the second Ventus comes within ten feet of Vanitas and Roxas-- Vanitas extends his hand out, and summons his keyblade. he doesn't just take a step forward-- he lunges at him, blade swinging down from above his head at a speed that's nearly impossible to follow with eyes alone. ]

Huh? I'm fine.

[ Huh? What's Ven doing here? Roxas is glad to see his facetwin (and part of him, deep down, is ecstatic) and he raises a hand in greeting, but — ]

HEY!

[ No one's attacking his friend on Roxas' watch! ...besides, Vanitas should be paying attention to him. He rushes after Vanitas, aiming to slam into him from behind and knock the attack away. ]

That's good. I -

[ When he senses Vanitas closing in on him, Ventus materializes his own Keyblade, readying himself to parry his attacker - but he doesn't expect to see Roxas disappear from his vision, and the resulting lack of contact from Vanitas. Blinking, he moves forward to catch up to the two, Keyblade in hand. ]

Roxas!

[ Vanitas stumbles-- for just a moment, before he catches himself. he twists, Void Gear pointed in Roxas' direction, and his free hand extended towards Ventus. watching, waiting-- but Vanitas isn't a patient person, he doesn't just stand there and do nothing. the grip on his keyblade shifts, and the corners of his lips turn up into a grin.

and from the keyblade, Vanitas summons dark lighting, throwing it at Roxas before twisting around to slash at Ventus. ]

[ Roxas manages to dodge the lightning, but he does it by sprawling on the ground, catching a scrape on the chin for his troubles.

That kinda stings, dude :/

But! He pops back up on his feet shortly. ]

Stop that!

action;

[conjoins]

[ He parries just in time, and it's only likely because they'd fought before; his feet push against the ground as he shifts to a grounded position, and he pushes in hopes of gaining more in this push o' war. ]

Don't come near! He wants to kill you! [ and quieter, to Vanitas: ] Don't you hurt him.

action;

[dissolves]

Why should I listen to you?

[ Roxas has been shoved out of the way for now, so Vanitas doesn't bother with him. instead, he pushes harder against Ventus' keyblade, to push him back, and over. there's a wide smirk on his lips, body shoving forward with all that he has, because while there are much better ways to get Ventus down, to win, overpowering him physically is satisfying enough. and of course, irritating him in the process. ]

[ Well that just won't do.

Sigh. Roxas calls his own Keyblades in twin flashes and charges. Now it's two-on-one. ]

I said stop!

[ No one's hurting his facetwin while Roxas is around. And hey, now maybe Vanitas will notice him! ]

[ He shoves back with equal strength, and although Ventus would consider the two of them on equal ground in terms of physical power - or at least, he knows he wouldn't lose and he knows Vanitas won't give up without a fight - Ventus isn't really looking to win in a battle of power, not when Roxas has his own keyblades out. At the very least - Vanitas is outnumbered, which makes him feel a little better. Still, he's pushing with all his might; although this isn't a battle, but a brawl, there's no way he wants to lose. ]
