[It's hard to tell what the gentleman is thinking as a pair of sunglasses cover half his face. From the tone of his voice it's easy to tell that he's exasperated, tired and pissed off. He's dressed in a very expensive business suit that is currently a bit singed, has some blood on it, and very rumpled. Clearly someone has been busy before they arrived here and hasn't had a chance to change.]

Another kidnapping? Really. Don't you people ever get tired of it?

I have to say it's pretty good for a kidnapping. I mean, I didn't even feel the transfer and that's damn hard to do.

[He pauses and looks around to get a better sense of his surroundings.]

Are you fair folk? It doesn't feel like Faery.

[That said, he shrugs dismissing the matter out of hand. Faery or not, he's still been kidnapped after all. That's what needs to be dealt with.]

Anyway. It'd be best to let me go back right now for everyone's sake. My father will be pissed off when he finds me missing and his temper is already frayed and my fiancee will be pissed off and her temper is even more frayed.

This seems like a nice place, if odd. So instead of pissing off the god of the dead and the warmage just let me go home and I won't mention it. This will save a lot of lives in the long run.

I've got enough on my plate already.

Maybe you should get a cat. A co-worker has a cat and she goes everywhere with him. The cat has him fairly well trained, too.

I had a dog for a while, but then I think he went home like his old owner did.

I never thought about a cat. I have a mechanical bird, though. And I can always go to the Library and be there if I miss people. Or go out in the woods and be around the animals there. Just sometimes in the night, well... we'll see.

Oh yes, I've read about that in books. So you need to get adjusted. Okay!

One of my co-workers has a cat. She takes care of him.

It's too bad he's not here, she just had kittens and we'd love to get rid of them all.

I never thought of libraries as places to talk with people.

A kitten might actually be kind of fun. And tiny and snuggly.

I miss having someone to snuggle with at night.

Oh, well... I don't really talk a whole lot at the Library unless I'm helping someone, but there's almost always a bunch of people there during the day.

As long as you don't mind them growing up into cats.

[He sighs.]

Well... I guess you could snuggle with me if you wanted to. If you're nice.

I'm not a very snuggly person.

People tend to be uncomfortable around me, so I don't think that would work out well.

[He has undead vibes and is a bit cold to the touch.]

That's okay. I just thought it would be nice to offer.

[She's honestly confused.]

Because you're offering it to a perfect stranger and I'm glad you would try and trust me enough to do so.

[She hadn't really thought things out that far. It wasn't really one of her strong suits. Empathy and kindness on the other hand...]

Well, you're welcome. I guess I just - well, you seem nice to me. And you were saying you'd miss snuggling with someone too, so it made sense.
