[It's hard to tell what the gentleman is thinking as a pair of sunglasses cover half his face. From the tone of his voice it's easy to tell that he's exasperated, tired and pissed off. He's dressed in a very expensive business suit that is currently a bit singed, has some blood on it, and very rumpled. Clearly someone has been busy before they arrived here and hasn't had a chance to change.]

Another kidnapping? Really. Don't you people ever get tired of it?

I have to say it's pretty good for a kidnapping. I mean, I didn't even feel the transfer and that's damn hard to do.

[He pauses and looks around to get a better sense of his surroundings.]

Are you fair folk? It doesn't feel like Faery.

[That said, he shrugs dismissing the matter out of hand. Faery or not, he's still been kidnapped after all. That's what needs to be dealt with.]

Anyway. It'd be best to let me go back right now for everyone's sake. My father will be pissed off when he finds me missing and his temper is already frayed and my fiancee will be pissed off and her temper is even more frayed.

This seems like a nice place, if odd. So instead of pissing off the god of the dead and the warmage just let me go home and I won't mention it. This will save a lot of lives in the long run.

I've got enough on my plate already.

Considering the week - the past day - I've been having this is really just an annoyance right now. I'm sure it'll get worse in a little while but I don't have the energy right now to be impressed.

They run the gamut from dangerous to humiliating.

Bizarre plantlike things with hands springing out of the ground and trying to drag us under. A curse that made us kiss each other randomly. A curse in which our darkest memories were shown to everyone. That sort of thing.

Dealt with shit like that before, though it was a haunted forest. Almost had something like that happen to me but that was a love potion someone tried to slip me at an event. Haven't had that one.

There's something new every day. You may find it thrilling, or, after awhile, simply tiresome.

Likely tiresome. I suppose it's nice in some sort of twisted way that it's like home.

Did you experience curses at home as well?

But no, I work with a team of highly specialized trouble shooters. When governments get into problems that they don't want to handle because of possible international incidents or they just don't have the resources they call on us. So, we get all sorts of weird stuff.

I'm currently living just outside of Washington DC in West Virginia.

He wishes he could be. But there's a law against gods and their heirs until being involved in politics in most countries now. The United States was the first one to do it when they founded the place. No god nor child of theirs unto six generations after shall be a US citizen or allowed to run for any political office. [He sounds like he's quoting something.]

The spell that they created to enforce that, I'm told, was a work of genius.

But Franklin and Jefferson were geniuses.

Why are there so many people here who claim to be related to the gods in some way, when gods are the furthest thing from reality?

My father is over six thousand years old. And there are historical records backing this up. When people who worship him die he takes their souls to the afterlife after judging them.

My uncle's moods, back when he lived in their home city state - also six thousand years ago - would effect the moon.

What would you call that?
