[ Pepper's sitting at her desk, some legal-looking documents strewn in front of her. Eagle eyed viewers might catch a glimpse of a ring on her finger.]

As some of you may know, Tony Stark has returned to the City, albeit with no memories of having been here before. I ask that you all be patient with him as he settles in.

No changes will be taking place at City Solutions just yet. I will continue to be CEO until such a time as Mr. Stark decides whether he would like to take over, though to be honest I doubt that will happen any time soon. He and I have some business of our own to take care of.

Asami Sato. You must be Pepper Potts, I've heard about the impressive work you've done for City Solutions.

Thank you, Miss Sato. Are you-- were you an acquaintance of Tony's? [ Because clearly he needs to make acquaintances all over again. ]

I wasn't, having only been a resident of the city for around a month. It was mentioned I ought to look up a relation of his; Howard Stark? In regards to some plans I had.

Oh, so you know Howard. [ Pepper might be a little bit sorry; pretty girl like you. ]

What plans are those? Maybe City Solutions can help.

I know of him. I drew up some of the designs my family company had back home for satomobiles — that is, for cars — and intended to try and get a few off the ground to help out.

[ Welp, looking a little chagrined here. ]

I fixed the transport issue I had for myself by repairing a moped, but I'm afraid that after seeing how some of the automobiles around the city operate, the ones my father invented are somewhat old-fashioned. I wouldn't want to bother anyone.

You're saying your father invented your world's automobiles and you're... following in his footsteps? My dear I'm sure we can find a place for you and your designs, at the very least an apprenticeship to get your knowledge level caught up.

[riches]

[ There aren't really words for how unexpected the offer is, nor how far off-guard it catches her, but she's touched; very much so, and turns pink in the cheeks as a result. ]

That I am. And what exactly is your interest, Mr...?

[rianofski]

I'm Andrew Ryan. I was an industrialist with more than a passing interest in engineering back home, Ms. Potts, and I was interested to see what City Solutions designed, to see if there might be anything I could bring to the table that you don't already have.

[threeolives]

Well, Mr. Ryan, we'd be happy to have you. I'll set up a meeting for you with the head of our engineering department ...once I figure out who that is... and you can get talking!

[rianofski]

Much appreciated. I've already been speaking with Ms. Delacroix a fair amount, and find the work you do intriguing.

[And writing a prenup with Ms. Delacroix. But hey.]

Why thank you. Though, to be honest, I personally only have a limited understanding of all the work we do. I'm mainly ion the business side of things.

Understandable. Still, you seem to be the appropriate person to contact, and the business side of things is just as important, in my opinion.
