This t-shirt that he's wearing, how and when it pulled itself onto his body is beyond him (did he sleepwalk and change in his sleep?) and now he seems to be stuck with it. And boooooyyyyyyy is it upsetting (apparently he's not the only one with issues that involve losing family). ]

Whatever this is-- [ He's accessed the network now. Big bold letters on his upper body read: MY PARENTS WERE MURDERED RIGHT-- ... surely anyone can guess the rest. Nonetheless, Mako looks downright furious. He'll deal with the hurt and upset that follows once he's in private. ] --whatever joke I'm missing, I'm not laughing. This is disgusting.

Most of the curses are just silly things, but some can be really mean.

[ Mako notices her shirt. He winces because Lena's clearly not had a good past either. ]

Yeah, well, I guess it depends what home is like. Most of the time, I don't think this place is too bad.

[She shrugs. Normally she feels people don't understand her, and even though their situations are different, he does know what it's like to not have his parents.]

I always thought I was an orphan, but my mother's still alive. Finding out the truth was hard. But... I've had a lot of things hidden from me, so it's good I at least know the truth.

[Korra stands outside of Mako & Bolin's bedroom, unsure what to do. She knows he's upset and wants to comfort him, but she's not sure it's her place. She doesn't want her own feelings making the situation more awkward.

Maybe she should just let Asami take care of him. That's what girlfriends are for, right?]
