Do we all posses these ridiculous shirts? First of all, I'd like to make it known that I don't wear t-shirts.

[And admittedly, if you could see him right now, he'd look pretty strange with his t-shirt reading "I built an underwater utopia and turned it into a horrible dystopia and all I got was this lousy t-shirt!" under his suit jacket.]

Now let me inquire as to this... you needn't tell me what your t-shirt says, but I'm curious -- are all of your t-shirts true?

[Because he thinks his is a horrid lie, of course.]

I wonder if some people got truthful ones and others got false ones.

That would certainly make me far more comfortable.

Have you heard from others saying their shirts were false?</font?

One other asserting the falsehood of their shirt, and one saying that it is a matter of subjectivity, which is, of course, true.

Then perhaps it is random chance. That's good to know, I suppose, for those with false shirts.

And yet you're willing to admit yours is true.

It's not questionable or dependent on context. It's true.

Have you shown it to anyone?

Just my sister, as of right now.

She does. My whole family does.

Fascinating. And yet, she's your only family member here?

At the moment, at least. The City is capricious enough that that could change at any time.

Would you be happy if the rest of your family arrived?

Absolutely not. They're finally safe at home, and I wouldn't change that for anything.

Was there a question of their security, before?

We were at war in my world. No one's safety was guaranteed.

I see. I understand the problem.

At home, at least, I know they're safe now. Here? Nothing is guaranteed.
