My mother was a tree and a needle, as well as being who she was. My father was lightning and a thread. Who am I?

Some people argue that technology has already made humans into cyborgs even though we don't acknowledge it yet. This would be my cyborg mind at work.

Do people say that? I think technology is probably the coolest ever. But sometimes it's hard for me to keep up.

There's a guy where I'm from who was born with complete colorblindness. He now has a cybernetic implant that allows him to hear color into the infrared and ultraviolet spectra. I'd say that counts as a cyborg.
