[A very wet hand grabs the recording device. After a moment of darkness, the device is set down (with absolutely no gentleness whatsoever) on the edge of the fountain. From off screen:]

I'm not surprised you're here.

[After a few moments full of drippy noises--the sounds of someone wringing his shirt and hair out, maybe--the device is retrieved and turned to show a wet and unamused Justin.]

It hasn't been a year, has it?


[ooc: Yeah, I brought him back. Do appraise him of the police situation!]

Okay, I'll be there in just a sec with one.

[And in a few minutes, Lucy is coming toward Justin with a pink and white polka dotted beach towel and a red and white striped one.]

I figured bigger was better.

[Justin might still have some reservations about Lucy due to her past relationship with the Master, but she did bring towels. He reaches out for the red and white one.]

Drier, at least. Thank you. I'm not used to entering via the fountain.

[Lucy shrugs a little, folding the other towel over her arms.]

You're welcome. I came in the fountain once and the middle of town the other time.

I hope you didn't fall into the middle of town.

Nope. I just sort of walked in, you know?

[othersdie]

That's a lot less painful.

[mightbeconcussed]

Definitely. [She glances over at him.]

Do you want coffee or tea as a warm up?

[othersdie]

Oh... no, no thank you. I should... I should go home, since my roommates haven't rented my room out.

[He's only moderately drier, but it beats soaking wet.]

Thank you. For the towel.

[Lucy just nods.]

You're welcome. You can keep it if you want. It's not like I don't have more.

[othersdie]

[Broken record. Sometimes he wishes he was better at talking to people.]

Then I'll just... [he gestures in the general direction of the apartment] Thank you.
