[ a face appears, her smile glinting with an edge of danger as she speaks ]

[ she leans in close, eyes flashing a brilliant blue before fading darker. ]

If you're not here soon, well... I guess I'll just have a little bit of fun. [ she flicked her wrist then, the phone fizzling out with a plop as it landed in the fountain. Diva's a bit pissed off after all. Her Riku's gotten away again and just before she found him. And if her chevalier (any of them) don't come find her soon, well... who knows who might get hurt. Do tread with care. ]

((ooc: Diva's not happy at the moment, so if you want to action it up, be prepared for potential unpleasantness depending on how the threads go. I won't go too extreme, no worries! She's more interested in general destruction then a feast right now. ))

Not here currently. Then again, Hagi isn't either. [But he can always make plans for them when they arrive. Until then it's just about keeping Diva happy.]

[ she slaps his hand away, instantly brought back to the present. ]

Don't do that again.

[ she stopped and then leaned in close, whispering in his ear ] Unless you want to lose a hand.

[ He takes the blow with -- not grace, but without howling. Not so much physical pain as the the enormity of her disappointment. He hadn't failed. She'd gotten what she wanted from that boy. When she'd last been here, she was carrying her babies. ]

[ Happy. ]

[ But how can he tell her that? ]

[ Kneeling, head lowered. A helpless supplicant. ]

Damn! [And that fires him up a bit, pulling back after the ear whispering.]

I like my hands where they are. [In fact, one is covering the wrist of the one he used to reach out with, shaking a little.] I was just concerned, that's all. You looked a little spooked for a moment.

[ she leans in close, trailing a hand over his shoulder as she circles him. ] You let him get away. [ and her nails raked down his cheek. Her darling, her own, her chevalier. She should have thought better of that for all that he was the only one who wanted to help her. ]

[ And he brought her back. How lucky for him. ] And why should you care? [ she scoffed and frowned. Unasked for kindness was... strange. ]

Ungrateful bitch. [Muttering, rather annoyed. Has at least let go of his other hand.]

I just do, okay. I knew someone that looked like you. And it weirded me out when you got like that.

[ After the absence of her touch, even that scrape of nails is pleasurable. Any touch-- tender, violent--she cares to bestow is bliss. She could trample him, tear him to pieces. And it would only intensify his adoration. ]

[ He is hers. Worthless, undeserving, to do with as she pleases. ]

I am. [ Sincere yet plaintive. ] Please forgive me. I will do everything I can to make this up to you.

[ Even if it's impossible. ]

[He can't give her the children she yearns for. ]

Hmm... [ she glanced over at Nathan, a small smile creeping over her lips. So long as Hagi and Saya weren't here, well... she still had a chance. Not that she'd ever let them get in her way again.

She's waited far too long for that. ] And a bath? [ Nathan always did have the best hands after all. And she wanted fewer reminders of what she almost had. ]

[ Oh. ]

[ YOU DIDN'T. ]

[ her eyes grew wide and then she laughed ] Ungrateful? What in the world could you ever give me that I'd want.

Or... were you hoping for something else? [ one quick slash of her wrist and he'd be hers. Don't tempt a queen. And she can only assume he's met Saya. Yet another mark against him. Another mark towards changing him. Oh, how Saya hated it when Diva took Saya's things. ]

[He smiles at her and holds his arm out.] My lady, may I have this honor?

[Because she deserves the best treatment.]

[She's laughing? Heh.]

I guess you have point.... No, I meant about worrying over you. Guess you don't like people doing that?

[Don't be so sure, Diva. Rejuvenating blood, kinda hard to turn.]

[He'd recognized her, so the logical step would have been avoiding her. However, he knew Setsuna and how illogical his step could be, so he wasn't even surprised to find them like this.

Kira was there in time to see her threaten Setsuna's hand and it's not too long ago he had seen that same hand severed. So now he's very far from happy with her, not that his voice gives anything away when he stops next to them.]

He's with me. And usually hoping for a lot of things.

[ she stoops down low, yanking on his hair to bring his face close to hers. ] Then find him. [ she shouldn't have to ask it twice after all. It's the only thing she's ever wanted. ]

[ she barely spares this newcomer a glance, gaze firmly fixed on Setsuna now that he well and truly has her attention. ]

Worry? [ her lips twitched back up into a smile, her mood as fickle as always. ] How delightful. It almost sounds like you care. [ and no one does. Not for Diva. They just want to get in the way of her fun. ]

[ He knew she'd ask. No, command.How does he explain? Saya isn't here. Nor is Riku. He gathers his courage, even as his skin creeps and his blood tingles at her proximity. ]

[ She is exquisite, even in white-hot rage. ]

This place hasn't allowed that boy [ Or Saya. ] to enter it. Only a handful of our family.

[ He'd move heaven and earth to give her what she desires. But. He. Can't. Self-disgust roils through him. ]

[ He drops his eyes, fully expecting her wrath. ]

[ He deserves it. ]

Senpai.... [He spares Kira a curious glance before blinking at Diva.]

I usually do care, against my better judgement, too. [Although, yeah, some types of her fun? He would be getting in the way of.]

He collects certain people. [Nutcases, mostly.]

Setsuna, you're not a buffet. Stop advertising like one.

[ she simply leans against him in answer, head on his shoulder and fingers twining around his arm. ] I'll need a new dress. [ so she can burn the one she's in. It's simply bad luck. ]

Let's stop and get you a couple first then, hm? Something pretty that will make you smile. [He'll guide them off to a shop then because really it's worth looking at with all those pretty dresses in the window.]

[ she blinked, looking back and forth between them, immediately displeased. This new man was taking away half her fun. Which is why she turns her nose up at Kira, lips curling back in a half sneer. ]

You're ugly.

[ and not half her type. Gullible, sweet. Innocent. He's seen right through her. ]

Kira's not ugly. [Confusion! And then some to Kira's words.]

Huh? How'm I advertizing, exactly? And there's nothing sayin' she's going to eat me.

[ she pets him then, soft touches on his hair. ] And that's going to stop you? [ she doesn't realize yet that she can't leave, that Karl can't disappear from her sight.

She only knows she's being wound tight, on edge. She could tear Karl limb from limb, but that won't kill him. The one defect to her blood. It's a shame it doesn't work that way, even if she may regret it, later on. ]

That's alright, Setsuna, my ego can take it. She's looking too cheap for my tastes, anyway.

[Immature insult is a fitting response for that sneer. Might anger her, too, and her attacking him could actually be a way to keep Setsuna from taking to her.]
