[Lena is sitting with a tile wall behind her and an epic pout on her face. She's also wearing a yellow raincoat, the hood pulled up, as water beats down on the top of her head. She pans the camera up to show a little black raincloud above her head.]

This sucks.

[Her voice echoes off the tiles. Yep, she's sitting in her bathtub.]

I can't Cast anything that will get rid of it, or block it. Not unless it's against my head like this hood. Has anyone had this curse before? Is there any way to stop it?



[ooc: Lena's been hit with the Find A Rainbow Day curse. Her pessimism keeps the black rain cloud, but cheerfulness will bring a rainbow! She's just too grumpy to try and be positive.]

[Well, Anna will be by with that hot chocolate, and can marvel in person at this change in forecast.]

Well, that is an improvement.

[She's finally out of the tub and in dry clothes, beaming at Anna.]

I know! I'll bet the black cloud had to do with my mood, but then you said you were bringing hot chocolate and I felt better. And then, this.

[She points to the rainbow.]

I guess I'd better stay happy, huh?

[flensing]

[Aw. Anna actually smiles back, instead of that limp and uncertain tilt to her lips that she usually gives.]

Yes, that would be preferable.

[claimyourself]

C'mon in. I hope you're not allergic to cats? If so, I can put him in another room and change the furniture.

[A cute little black kitten with white feet and a white splotch across his face peeks his head around a corner and mews in question.]

[flensing]

Oh no, I would be very happy to meet him.

[And Anna seems pretty earnest in that. It's much easier for her to bond with animals than it is with people.]

I have a kitten myself, his name is Danish.

[claimyourself]

Well this is Desi. Say "hi," Desi.

[The kitten looks up, wanders forward, and weaves around Anna's legs a few times.]

Okay, suck up, give her a chance to sit down. [And now to Anna.] Do we need mugs?

[flensing]

Mugs would help.

[Although Anna is a long practitioner of sharing out of a thermos. The item in question is produced out of a little satchel bag and set to the side so her hands can better introduce themselves to Desi.]

[claimyourself]

Be right back.

[She goes to the kitchen and collects two mugs, coming back a moment later so they can sit on the couch. The whole time the rainbow stays brightly encircled above her head.]

Here you go.

[flensing]

You're beaming.

[It's so cute.]

[She laughs, handing Anna a mug.]

Just glad the rain's stopped dripping on my head. It was driving me crazy. And I guess I need to stay positive or that cloud will come back.

[flensing]

[Anna sloshes out a serving of hot chocolate; one, two.]

It seems the deities had a valuable lesson for us today.

[claimyourself]

That, or they wanted a good laugh at my expense.

[Stay positive, stay positive...]

But it's okay. I have company and hot chocolate, so everything's okay.

[flensing]
