[ Riou has something with him today. Something... new. And special. He holds it out- why it's a Monopoly: The City version!! ]

Look what I found! Let's play this! They said this was a fun game- everyone in our house can play it too! Tyr, Rita, Estelle, Flynn- even Mukumuku!

So, what do you guys think?

[ ooc; Though there's an actual City version, this one is THE City version. Based on City places. Stuff stuff! Just imagined how cool that would be... ]

Aren't the houses and hotels always 3D?

They are? What does 3D mean, anyway?

[harrydresden]

Well 2D is like a drawing on paper, right? So it's flat. 3D is like an ice cube or a block of wood, it has shape beyond the flatness of a picture on paper. So the houses and hotels in Monopoly have always been in 3D but the box makes it look like it's something new and special.

But this isn't a new game?

Well, I've played Monopoly before, but not any of the new versions. I think the Alphas have the Nintendo one but we usually just do campaigns when I go over there to play.

Alphas and Nintendo... I'm lost, I think.

Welcome to my life buddy. No, the Alphas are just a group of friends back home. And the rest is just games that I can't play anyway, it's all good.

Okay, I guess. But what's this game like? Since you played it before?

Try to buy as much land and property as you can without going broke, and make everyone else go broke.

Got it! Buy a lot...

Wait, this is game about merchants?

[harrydresden]

Buy a lot and crush the spirit of everyone else. Yep that's the nutshell.

Business men really, merchants seem like they're smaller level entirely.

[everhoping]

I guess I haven't met any business men in my world. It was all merchants! And they traded a lot...

[harrydresden]

Well, it'll be a learning experience then.

[everhoping]

I guess so. I've been here a long time but I guess there's still a lot of things here that I don't think I've seen in my world. Like businessmen. And monopoly!

[ Then again, he's also from a backwater town.......... ]

[ Riou immediately thinks of Wizard Runes that he's seen on sale before... ]

Yeah, that's one way of putting it.

[Harry uses Runes on his staff but they're hand carved.]

Wait, more powerful then? Because I guess I can use some magic too but I'm not really a magician like Luc or Viki back in my world...

I can harness magic, so yes magic user is accurate. Focus it and project it as well.

Magicians use parlor tricks. Wizards are generally high level magic users.

Oh! So my friends should be called wizards too, then...? I don't think I called them that...

What's magic like in your world?

Depends on the skill level.

I guess it depends on where it comes from and who's using it. I use magic that comes from the same place life comes from.
