Though it has been millenia since I have last been on Midgard, I have to confess that this landscape does not look at all like I expected it would be. The locals seem...willing to help, at the very least, but deluded into thinking that this small box I am now operating will help my message get to you.

Still, it does not hurt to try.

I don't think this has anything to do with the Bifrost. This place is a pocket dimension. People show up here at random with no explanation. Time's holding still where you're from. Whatever amount of time you spend here, it'll be like none passed wherever you were previously. And there's really no way out. That also seems to happen at random with no explanation.
