[ The feed starts with just the hint of static, half of the screen covered in darkness. The only noise is sound of panting and the faint strains of somebody's iPod. Suddenly a growl fills the air, small and clearly puppy-ish, just before the device is dropped with a thump. He doesn't quite get what's going on, his mind a haze of odd smells and even odder feelings, but he clearly remembers that the device is important.

Moments later a small black nose appears on screen, the confused expression of a Jack Russell looming over it. Stiles' tail is going a mile a minute (and holy crap, he has a tail!) and there's that crooked canine smile that clearly suggests something playful. If he's dreaming, it's really cool, but he doubts it. Maybe it's something that he should remember, but all he really wants to do is chase that peculiar scent.

So he moves away, nose to the floor and his tail thumping the table as he passes. The door is going to be problematic. Stiles aims for a jump towards the handle and ends up crashing on his ass, a whine of sound drifting from where he is. Clearly height is going to be a thing today. ]



(( ooc: so Stiles is a puppy because i could not resist and it will make all his jokes 100% funnier, yes. . He will be all up in yo business if you come and let him out, just saying. ))

[He comes in through the window because that is what Derek does, and he stares down at the dog.

The dog.

The dog that smells like Stiles.]

[ Oh hey, Derek.

Just ignore the ball of terrier currently growling pathetically at you. That's right, he can growl too, yo. ]

Why do you smell like Stiles?

[He just budges a little closer, moving one foot to nudge the dog.]

[studmuffin]

[ He can't speak. But he does bounce back to the device anyway, snuffling at it in response.

And then, genius idea. Two barks. Puppy. ]

[studmuffin]

[ Stiles just skitters away from his foot and barks at him. God Derek, you're so dumb. You're the dumbest alpha ever.

So he's going to help, running towards chair and chewing on the edge of Stiles' sweatpants. They don't appear to have been thrown there. More like someone's fallen asleep in the chair and then vanished out of his clothing. ]

[He doesn't speak dog, but....]

You sound like a puppy.

Hi, anyway! If I see you around today I'll give you a biscuit.

[lupusalpha]

[He reaches down and picks up the dog by the scruff of the neck, holding him up at eye level]

Stiles?

[studmuffin]

[ Happy bark. Maybe if he climbs out of the window he can find the biscuit giving man.

Not that Stiles needs a biscuit. He's totally human and he will remember that easily. ]

[studmuffin]

[ Oh hey no.

Stiles whines, because Derek is using his legs and arms and human body parts to his advantage. Why does he want to wag his tail?

Barking. Yep. It's him. Now put him down. ]

I'll be wandering around. You're not trapped are you? Well...not that you can answer.

[lupusalpha]

[Another sniff and holy crap. Holy crap.]

I think I like you better this way.

[Derek is SMIRKING. And also still holding Stiles.]

[studmuffin]

[ Yes, yes he is. He wags his tail and then moves to scratch the door again because maybe he can get out. ]

[studmuffin]

[ No, you suck. He is making his displeasure known by the slight rumble in his chest.

He will pee on all you love, Derek Hale. ]

You're trying to growl at me.

[That's precious.]

Ohh.... Maybe you can kinda answer, after all. But figuring out where you are would be kinda tough.

[studmuffin]

[ Bark.

Maybe he can wriggle free and then bite Derek. How would you like that, dude? ]

[studmuffin]

[ Damn.

Oh but wait, there's a folder. Stiles runs across the room, claws skittering along the wood of the floor and then he's tugging something in his teeth. It's leant against his bed from yesterday, the welcome pack to the youth center.

Maybe if he noses his device closer he can get the words on screen. ]

[He sets Stiles down on the floor and goes to the door and opens it.]

Outside.

[studmuffin]

[ He sniffs him first, because it's weird actually being able to smell things like he imagines Derek can. Not that he wants to stick his nose against Derek's ankle, but it's an urge he can't quite get over, the weird mesh between puppy and human.

Then he's mostly just bouncing down the corridor because everything is huge and he has tiny legs, whatever. ]

[Watches, fascinated at seeing a dog do all of this. Right, he's probably usually human, but still!]

Oh! The Youth Center. I know where that's at.

[lupusalpha]

[Derek follows, here to open doors and be useful. He also kind of wants to see Stiles freak out when he gets outside.]

[studmuffin]

[ Tail wag.

He doesn't know how to actually let the guy know his room number but one more step closer to freedom, right? ]

I'll just wander around there. You bark really loud and maybe I can figure this out.

[studmuffin]

[ Freak out he does.

Mostly because everything smells so - weird or good or strange and he has the worst urge to just follow a half a dozen of them at once, weaving in and out of Derek's legs before he's bounding over to the grass and sniffing it.

He's got to keep it together. He's not actually a happy puppy but this is epic. ]
