Permavideo

Harry, I have completed the assigned tasks of video watching.

The incredibly long six movies of the War of Stars was somewhat ... well, it leaves many questions. In attempting to avoid one's destiny, one actually fulfills it? Disturbing implications, I must say, all things considered.

As for the Kid of Karate, one ought to solve all problems with violence in a contained arena? That is a very Aesir sentiment, and I am sure there is some human moral about not giving up despite being smaller than your opponent in that message as well, but in truth, I prefer not getting my hands dirty in such a way.

Although, now I do better understand some of the internet memes that I had previously studied on the 4chan.

[Thoughtful, pensive, tapping a finger to the side of his jaw, then shrugging] Serrure, out! [Then clicking off the feed.]

So that's you were watching those movies...training. Your teacher has some weird training ideas.

[Not that she minds, as he's not evil, so yay!]'

The star war movies were odd...

I think they went to an extreme...by forbidding attachment, they forced Anakin to do all of that in secret, and when he needed help he couldn't get it.

I think things could've been avoided if they had found some sort of middle ground. Or maybe realized that the politician guy was evil, he came off as creepy to me.

Star Wars. That Obi-Wan Kenobi is a git.

Who says you can't solve most problems with violence?

[ Girlish face aside, he'd fit in on Aesir just fine. ]

The original three Star Wars films were the better ones.

Wow, you really did it. That explains why I haven't seen you. 4-6 Are the important ones. Destiny is kind of... inevitable by definition isn't it? I figure you focus on doing what's right and things will work themselves out in the end. [He's trying to remember what the goal was, he was doing a lot of stuff when he first got here. Probably just so you'd know what he meant when he said stuff.] You don't have to take it all, it will just ... help when I use it to explain things to you.

The Karate Kid is more about fighting fair if you have to fight but sometimes you have to stand up for yourself. Also that you have to have patience to get results. And if set you some mundane task like waxing a car, there might be more to it later on. Patience and concentration will be important. You can be a magical thug, but a really good wizard can control his magic so he doesn't have to waste all that extra energy to do the same thing.

What is an internet meem and fourchan?

Hating Jar-Jar is the only proper reaction.

The ones with Luke and Han. Those are the only ones I like.

[Crowley has no idea, being from a time before the prequel trilogy's release, but he did know Obi-Wan.]

Whatever. I'm just saying Obi-Wan Kenobi himself is simply dreadful company and couldn't make a cup of tea worth drinking. [Not that Crowley tasted Obi-Wan's tea.]

Which Karate Kid did he make you watch? I hope it was the Ralph Macchio one and not the Jackie Chan on. Though really I prefer The Next Karate Kid, for reasons of female empowerment and all that.

Watching those movies is a rite of passage. Don't worry about it. It will make things easier to understand when you're around me.

To be honest I don't really believe in destiny, it's good for movies but not very likely in reality. I think we are the product of our own decisions, everyone has multiple possible futures based on what they chose during their life.

I'm more thuggish on the scale, I have to work harder to control things than some people because I have a lot of raw power.

I ... have no idea what most of that meant. There's internet but computers don't like me much. Magic and electronics don't react well together.
