[Charlie has a broom in her hand and she is sweeping the floor of her apartment building, frowning. The device is at an odd angle on the kitchen counter, probably haphazardly put there and she's unaware it's recording.] Jesus, it's everywhere.

[Whatever she's just swept up is swept into a dustpan, Charlie crouching and disappearing from view to do so. When she's up again, she notices the device recording and she shows the dustpan full of sand.] Really? It was in my bed this morning. And my shoes.

[A sigh, a small shake of her head and she looks at the floor again. Something makes her smile and she picks the device up, pointing it at her cats. They're playing with the sand, batting it around and rolling in it, as little as there is.] At least someone in this apartment is having fun with it.

Yep! Petrichor is the small, storm-cloud looking one who keeps trying to climb Hypnos' head. [See? She's turned the camera towards the cats again. Hypnos apparently gives no fucks towards what the smaller cat is doing and is holding still.]

It's the best word. [Charlie turns the camera back to herself, grinning at Bucky.] You should come over and play with the cats. I bet Hypnos misses you.

[ He doesn't feel like a people person right now though, and Charlie's generally perceptive. ] Got some crap I gotta take care of later though. I'll see if I can make it round after?

[Message received, big brother. She smiles slightly, nodding her head once in understanding.] I'm home all day.

Yeah. Mostly. [There's something she wants to tell Bucky but is kind of afraid to, really. He seems bothered and she doesn't want to upset him more.]

Apparently, some of the weekend visitors are still here.

The vampire's still around. He hasn't bothered me, but...he doesn't recall being here this weekend, either.

He didn't bite me. Tried to. I burned him. Not to ash but here's what I'm thinking about that. Killing him would be pointless. And get repetitive. Because then he'd come back and be mad that I killed him. And it'd just be wash rinse repeat and that's not really something I feel like doing. I mean sure, if it comes down to it? He's a goner. I'd just rather not unless necessary.

You're gonna have'ta get me up to speed, I ain't big on the vampire lore apart from that one time this old lady accused Steve of bein' undead, 'cause he was sick. We think she was crazy.
