He's...so broken at the idea of losing me. Either out there or in here. I can't do anything about the City deciding to take me away from here but I can do something about leaving him out there.

Because he wouldn't want me to do this. It's too risky, too much. There's too much at stake and too many things that can go wrong with a general sort of 'immortality'. I'll tell him...once I've figgered out how it'll work.

I will. I promise. I just...need more information 'bout it. I have to know if it's safe or...like becomin' a vampire? He'd have a fit and drop me back on my world so fast m'head would spin. I have to be able to explain to him that it's not like that.

I'm human. He's not. He's got no idea how to make me...less human without makin' me less human.
