Frequent use of high heels might result in shortening of the Achilles tendon and increases the likelihood of damage to the underlying soft tissue that supports the foot. Furthermore, constraining the toes can lead to blisters, corns, hammer toes, hallux valgus, Morton's neuroma, plantar fasciitis and many other medical condition. These risks are more pronounced for children.
