[Possibly the most dangerous sight there is. The Goddess of War, armed with water balloons, grinning like a hungry wolf, hiding strategically behind an unidentifiable corner.]

Now this - this is a field I understand best.

[He moves painstakingly slowly, careful not to disturb the slightest twig or branch- not even a leaf. He has a balloon filled with hot pink water in his hand and is slowly pulling his arm back. Carefully.... carefully.....]

[Here is the thing, though. Leaves move. Branches sway. When it's too quiet is when anyone with a lick of sense would worry. And Sif does know how to be alert.

However, often you have to lay the bait before the prey can come at you.]

[He is yet unskilled in the art of war and so he doesn't take this into account. But he's thinking he has the upper hand, grinning to himself as he chucks the water balloon at her, in his opinion, incredibly unsuspecting self.]

[And that's his first mistake. It's as easy to dodge that one as it is to spin around and hurl a balloon at him, towards the branches still shaking from the movement of the throw.]

(oh, it's on. not only is he soaking wet and eager to get his revenge on sif. so he lies in wait, waiting for her)

[Such a poor loser, mighty Thor. Just because he was not alert in his sleep, and woke up very bright and early with a morning shower...

Keep waiting, bro.]

[ This is Peter, minding his own business while being completely oblivious to everything else around him. ]

[Now that just can't be. That just won't do! A lesson must be taught - you don't simply walk around completely oblivious when you're on a battlefield. Any moment, a balloon full of water could, and will, be pelted at your back.]

[ There's no killing intent behind the attack, and he knows who Sif is distantly, so the ol' Webhead won't be saved by Spider-sense. Unlike his little escapade with Bucky, this is all innocence, and Peter gets pelted with a balloon square between the shoulder blades. ]

Oof!

[She's not exactly attacking from where she can't be seen - there's little honour in complete backstabbing. If he didn't stop her...his fault :T]

Surely, you shall be avenged.

[The impact is so unexpected she knocks him out of the tree, but little parkour masters always land on their feet and he does, grinning, albeit slightly damp. He draws another balloon in one hand and a super soaker in the other, trying to angle to chuck the balloon around one side of the tree and shoot from the other, as he maneuvers, he calls out.] Sif, Sif, but pink dye would have gone well with your complexion.

[And dive behind a tree she does as well, because she knows better than to trust Lokis to fight fair. Of course, they have not discussed that - nor does she want to. Not now.]

I should have known you would add something extra.

[He's grinning, you can just hear it in his voice.] Everyone likes getting extra, Sif. Besides, I'm sure it would have washed out. Eventually.

[And then he's throwing at her general direction and ducking around the other side in an effort to fire if she should be flushed out from her hiding spot]

You just decked me with a water balloon!

[ He turns around to try and find whoever just did that, and is surprised to find Sif, of all people, standing a little bit off to the side of him. How'd he miss her? ]

Sif...? What -- not you too!

[No such luck. She can be patient.

Like a hunter.

You're the prey.]

Not everyone, young one. We will see about that.

[Because she is the Norse Inquisition. No-one even knows of it, let alone expect it.

Honestly. Just because she's serious most of the time...]

Indeed, I as well. You did not evade it - there is a battle going on, if you were not aware.

[He's cat quiet as he dodges around the tree to a car] You're going to get pinked. There's no getting around it.

If you think your size will save you...

[You are so wrong! Meaning, if she gets pinked, she will shove his head into a bucket. :|]

Less taunting, more strategy!

[And up she goes, climbing that tree. Getting the higher ground is her favourite strategy.]

[Ack, now his position is fully exposed, but he is going to fire at you with the super soaker while climbing, Sif.]

Perhaps taunting is my strategy.

[DON'T THINK SHE WON'T JUMP TO THE NEXT TREE BECAUSE SHE WILL.]

Perhaps being a weasel is.

[Have another balloon.] Bringing guns to an honorable fight - terrible taste.

A city-wide water balloon fight hardly counts are a battle.

[ He twists this way and that, trying to scope out the damage. ]

Man, I'm going to have to stick to the underground now. And that place is scary enough.

And yet there are casualties. Such as those who walk around oblivious.

[She walks over, watching him with a calculating eye.] How good is your aim?

[ He arches an eyebrow. ]

You can't be serious.

Join or perish. Hiding is...cowardly. Surely, if you know the group called Avengers, it is not because they helped you hide.

Actually...[ Before he continues, he sees how serious she looks. ]--Know what? Never mind. I'll join in. If only to circumvent getting "perished" all over the city.
