[It's a strange angle the camera is positioned at, it captures Serrure set up at a makeshift table on a street corner, three cards turned face up on it.]

All right, all right, keep your eye on the Red Queen, that's the Queen of Hearts. Trust me, gentlemen, she will break yours on a whim. [He flips the cards over and shuffles them around, it's surprisingly easy to follow the Queen.]

Now, choose your lady, good sir? [The man behind the table points to the card that by all rights should be the queen. Serrure reaches for it and as his fingers brush the card, there is the faintest flash of green, only someone really looking for it would realize what it was. He flips the card over and it is-] Ah! Knave of Spades. Sorry, my good Sir. Looks as though your loss is-

[And then the camera dashes out towards Serrure and the gambler as someone yells-] LOKI'D! You've been LOKI'D!

[Serrure just stands there, blinking] Ah- no, no. [He puts his hands up, almost a placating gesture] You have the wrong person, I'm Serrure. And this is legitimate, a business that you are-

[But the gambler is interjecting] What? This was a trick? A setup? I want my money back.

[Serrure snatches the money.] SORRY, NO REFUNDS! [He calls over his shoulder, taking off running an demonstrating some surprisingly well honed parkour skills.]

[Have a Mindy. She's torn between grinning and looking mildly exasperated. And she might be laughing some.]

[And he's running while answering this]

Mindy! Happy Birthday. I have a present for you. Ah. Nevermind what just happened. I have no idea what is going on.

Hurry to the fountain! I'll hide you!

Okay! [Still running, surprisingly fast for a kid. But they know he's not human.] By the way, I have a present I cannot give you in public- nothing embarrassing, but, I remembered what you said... about ah... your hobbies.

[She'll be waiting near the fountain in the tent Gabriel set up. She's standing by a table with a rather long tablecloth on it. It's in a back corner, pretty well hidden. When she spots Serrure, she gives the table half a glance. Hopefully he gets the hint. And when the camera crew is close enough, Mindy will run interference in the form of yelling and telling them to get out or she'll have their heads what are they doing invading a kids birthday party are they stupid or something what's wrong with them?!

Hopefully it works.]

[He's just going to dive under the table and hide there while grinning at Mindy yelling at the camera crew, thinking that if they know what is good for them, they will not cross the girl. She hits kind of hard.]

There's no pattern to them that I have particularly noticed. A couple of times a week.

Does this particular curse extend to tricks with the cards?

[ Pepper had been meaning to check in on Serrure ever since the "actually-I'm-Loki-but-good" incident, and she is not happy with what she's found. ]

Hustling cards, Serrure? Really?

One must earn a living, Miss Pepper. [He's running, and grinning.] It is what I do back home and I am good at it.

There are better, more legal ways to get money, Serrure. A bright boy like you shouldn't have to cheat people out of their money, not here. Not when you could do so much more. This path doesn't lead anywhere good.
