[Mindy will be wandering the shop, sweeping up and straightening and helping where she can. She has movies to earn and junk food to...no wait scratch that. No junk food. Not after the food coma she and Serrure ate themselves into a few days ago. Nope. She's aiming for apples and healthy stuff.

Anyway. She's here, earning her keep and generally trying to stay out of the way.

And later, when it's time for a break, Mindy will be standing by her locker. There's a bag in her hand that has her very confused. It's not hers but it was in her locker and the stuff in it...

Stickers. Plushie Hello, Kitty dolls. A few Pixar films she's never seen. This was kinda weird and she might be smiling just a bit here.]

[From her office doorway, Angela has a clear shot of the employee locker bay where she's standing and watching Mindy dig through the backpack that somehow materialized in her personal locker. Well, not somehow as a certain somebody had a hand in putting it and the things that are stuffed inside there, but that same person didn't put their name or any identifying features to lead Mindy into figuring out who brought her bag back to her.

Let the mystery lie and be fun.]

[And Mindy was just so confused and delighted that the backpack she'd drawn the other day had returned. She had her suspicions as to how it got back to her, don't think she didn't, but would have to wait for her suspicions to be confirmed for her to react. For now, she was just going to sit on the floor and sort through the bag, grinning. When she looks up, she spots Angela and gives a wave.

Yeah. Angela? You're the prime suspect, just fyi.]

[Mindy's a sharp kid, almost frighteningly sharp. It won't take her long to figure out that Angela's behind this, but still, tomorrow's her birthday and Mindy was upset about losing that back. It's the least she could do for the girl.

With a wave back, Angela speaks from her spot.]

Good first day?

[Mindy is practically hugging the backpack now, grinning at Angela. She knows, by this point. She knows full well considering one of the movies in it and what the backpack looks like. She won't say anything, though. Just give Angela a knowing look.]

It's an interesting first day.

And I didn't even pay you yet. Are you sure about that?

[For all the bullshit these last few months that put Angela through the wringer, there's nothing like a kid's smile to wipe it away.]

It's a good first day. How about for you? [Mindy for her part was trying her best to keep things organized and swept and occasionally she'd help customers if they needed it.]

Nobody's crying, nobody's quit yet, and no customers have asked for a refund yet. Seems pretty good to me.
