[It's on purpose again. Charlie's at the stables, sitting on a bale of hay. Her horse is standing behind her, eating and watching the other horses as they go by but pretty much staying near Charlie. Before she can speak, he walks over to nudge her shoulder with his nose. Charlie reaches up to pet him, grinning at the horse.]

You just don't like it when I'm not talking to yo u, do you?

[She gets another nudge for her trouble before Necromancer heads off a bit to continue eating.]

Anyway, did anyone actually get into the convention yesterday or was that just more of the City's doing? Because I kept hearing people talking about kitchen gadgets and if I missed it, I'm going to be pissed.

[But, she's smirking. So clearly she won't be.] On a more serious note, I hope no one got sunburned or anything like I did. Thanks, Rapunzel, for helping me with that.

[And Necromancer is back, still nudging her shoulder and even tugging on her shirt a bit, much to Charlie's amusement.] Alright, alright. God. So impatient.

[This is said quite fondly and Charlie stands, turning the feed off.]

So, it was something the City was doing. Lovely. [She shrugs and then smiles a bit.] It was a good opportunity for the Jasmine Dragon to make money.

[She looks up at her horse. Necromancer heard his name and is coming to investigate.] Probably in a little bit. I just got here so I'm...hanging out for a bit. Why? Did you wanna come see him?

I will be at the stables after work to visit Rosella's horses. Maybe I will see you. [He doesn't sound too enthused. Then again, Tessa and McCoy haven't been gone long.]

[He doesn't reply, but Chekov does show up at the barn late midday, equipped with a small container of peeled carrots and a box of sugar cubes. He greets two horses--a black one and a brown one stabled next to each other--in Russian before noticing Charlie.]

No. I'm good there. It was just neat to hear about.

[Charlie looked over at Necromancer and smiled a bit before looking at Ken.] Yeah. This is Necromancer. He was important to me when I was younger. Merlin had him brought here.

[That's alright. He'll find something Charlie wants eventually, and make a gift out of it.]

Hello, Necromancer-san.

Merlin-san is? [Someone is kind of behind here.] I don't think I've met him. How did he manage that?

[Necromancer gives a soft snort in reply and Charlie grins.] I think that means he likes you. Either that or it's his version of 'hello.

[And then Charlie grins, it's sort of the same Derpy grin she usually reserved for Ed but better somehow. A bit happier. How's that for an answer?]

[Charlie was reading, knee under her chin as she sat on a hay bale. She looked up when she heard Pavel, grinning and putting a bookmark in her book before stuffing it in her backpack. Necromancer made his way over and stood near charlie, waiting for her cue. She looked up at the horse and patted his neck.]

Hi, Pavel. Come on over. He's friendly.

Occasionally, he'll try to take the book but it's more in play than anything.
