Wiccan said he met you before. He mentioned something about you not being too impressed with his power. [ And if Teddy looks maybe a little bit taller now, well. ]

[ Eyebrows lifting slightly, Clint is eyeing him up and down, because, really, is he imagining that or is he getting bigger? Still, he shrugs and looks unconcerned. ]

It's nothing personal. [ Because, no, he's not going to tell some strange kid about his run-in with magic. ] You his bodyguard?

[ And there's a challenging tip to Teddy's chin there, a deep and firm edge to his voice. He's not ashamed, and if he has a problem with it, he'll deal. ]

[ One corner of his mouth curls up into a smirk, and he shrugs, claps Teddy on the shoulder as if to say good for you. ]

Bodyguard, boyfriend, is there really a difference?

Yeah. [ He smiles, but it's not really the friendliest. ] It just means I'm more willing to jump in front of a bullet. [ Or arrow, if it happens to be the case. ]

We don't want the Avengers to be our enemies, but if you do anything to him, I will come for you.

[ No intention to actually do any harm, Clint makes himself look tall, squares his shoulders, and stares the kid down. ]

No one mentioned enemies. But throwing threats around the city isn't gonna get you far. Stay out of trouble, keep your boyfriend in check? There'll be no problem.

He shouldn't have to keep it in check. [ Angry, but it's more like a kid's frustration than anything else. Teddy's still young, defensive. ]

He can do magic, that doesn't automatically make him a villain.

[ He hesitates, eyes lifting away to scan around them, and he lowers his voice, because he knows Billy isn't one for evil, Coulson clearing him is something he trusts, too, but there's something else there that doesn't quite carry right. Concern? ] Trust me, flaunting a unique set of skills? Not something you want to do here. The less attention there is drawn to you the better.
