[An irritated hiss as she grumbles to herself. Water can be heard like she's on the fountain.]

Tch. What place is this to drag me away? Strange scents...This is not home. I do not know of this place at all. Home is where...

[She cries out sharply in agony.]

Master...Master! My sisters! Gone and stolen away. [Some sobbing follows before she screams.] Crawling with humans. [Her disgust over the fact is clear in the way she spits out the word.] All here but no family. [A long pause before she suddenly starts giggling and the device is discovered by her. And she starts to speak sweetly to it.]

Oh~? What is this thing~? Not what I might recognize. [Another giggle.] So silly and pathetic a thing with its little light. [Giggling some more.] But no matter with the little box.

[Her voice seems to coo at those around her as she calls out to them instead. The box is useless to her so there is no need to address if further.] Come play with me~ Show me where you have taken Master and I will make it fun~ For all of us~ [She giggles again as the recording stops.]

[ Diva had seemed to like her, that last time. She likely won't object. ]

[She lowers herself down, walking through the water and not caring that she's soaking herself in it.]

There's a large manor my Queen and I have recently moved into.

I'm quite certain you'll be comfortable there. While we get you settled. Diva enjoyed your dancing, when you last visited.

[Her face lights up right away.]

[ He laughs a little. She's as playful as he recalls. ]

There's music and dancing to be had in a lot of clubs in the City. And games of other sorts with the humans here.

Always. I long for the taste of blood and the screams that come with it.

[ His own spark red in response. Other than Diva, there's so few hunting-partners with the right mix of spontaneity and bloodlust. ]

We'll find you treats from the clubs Underground. To serenade your ears with pretty screams.

[ They can bring a few home for Diva to feed on. A juicy little Feast for Three. ]

[Marishka giggles, her fangs extending.]

Where oh where is this place, sweet Karl? Let us rip into them together.

[ Impressive set of fangs. Chiropterans only have them that long in full form. ]

I'll be over at the Fountain to fetch you. Then we can head Underground together.

You enjoyed it the last time. All littered with tasty snacks to pick from.

We do not get to hunt often at home. It is dangerous to take too much.

[She looks down then splashes some of the water she's in.]

The same applies here. Sadly.

[ A little scowl. When will humans learn their place? ]

But you can take enough. More often than not, the trick here is being fast and sneaky.

[ And gouging a few eyes out in advance. So the prey doesn't recognize his face. ]

To sneak is so dull.

[A pause and she looks at him again, a smile tugging at her lips.]

Unless it is made into a game.

Anything not done freely is dull.

[ He grins back. He likes games~ ]

What sort of games have you in mind?

Hurry to me and I will share.

[ Excuse him a moment. Swooping over to the Fountain~ ]

[Have one soaking wet bride stepping out of the water to look upon him curiously now that he's hear.]

[ Offering a hand out of polite courtesy. ]

Not bothered by any pesky humans, I trust?

[ There's so many in this City. It's intolerable. ]

They smell so terrible. Water washed the smell away.

[She takes his hand and touches his hair with another. If they're the same kind then they're like family in her eyes.]

Where is this place we will hunt?

It's below the City.

[ He allows the touch. Usually it's something he'd only permit from Diva. But he doesn't mind it from those he likes - or those Diva does. And Marishka did prove most charming company during her last visit. ]

We could hunt aboveground. But there's often noisy humans who call for reinforcements.

[ He hates it. But with Diva here - pregnant - he's learnt to be a bit more discreet. Why risk any harm coming her way? ]

I do not wish to be hunted again.

[She touches her skin as if remembering pain there.]

[ Her hand had felt cool in his. He'd dismissed it as from being in the water. But now... ]

Contemptible.

Who would dare hunt such a lovely lady as you?

[She curls her lip in disgust.]

[ Intrigued. ]

[She lets out a cry.]

Stolen from my eternal death!

Holy water.

[ Putting two and two together. Definitely City Dead. And, it seems, a real Vampire from legends. ]

[ The next remark very nearly makes him wince. ]

You as well. The Deities snatched you up. Not letting you rest after death.
