[Rose is sitting in her room in the TARDIS, feet crossed on the bed. She's got a contemplative sort of look on her face. It's not a sad look, just a thoughtful one.]

Been here a year and a few days. Didn't realise it at first 'til I was puttin' new pictures in my book. So much has happened in a year, s'almost like travelin' with the Doctor. You lose track of time, y'know and when you start tryin' to track it again you don't think it's possible that you managed to squeeze so much into what you've got.

's good thing. Brilliant thing. Guess my year hasn't been that different anybody else's here. Lost people, got people and kept some. I miss everyone I lost, but I love everyone I've kept so much. I've gotten to do things 'm not sure I would've gotten to do at home, even travelin' with the Doctor. I've had bad things happen too. [She's quiet a moment at this before she rebounds.] S'been worth it though, all the good. All in all it's been a fantastic year.

[And there's her trademark, bright smile]

And as someone once told me, I bet I'm gonna have a really good year.

A year sounds like a long time. I'm glad the good outweighs the bad, though. It usually does, I think, if you look at life the right way.

I know the next year'll be great for you.

I think most of the time it does too. You have to count the everyday things. Like chips. City has pretty decent chips.

And frozen yogurt. There's this little cafe not too far from the fountain that serves the best frozen yogurt of all time.

Me? I'm [frantically trying to maintain two centers for lost people, ruining any chance at a love life, regretting not jumping Dean when he was here, spread too thin and probably going crazy, naked] good. Pretty good. Today's a little weird, but that's the City.

Yeah? Haven't been there but definitely goin' to have to check it out.

[Penny really ought to ask for help. Rose is jobless and could probably stand to have something to do.]

With everyone runnin' 'round in the buff? Yeah.

That's... yeah. It's really not working over here. I have all kinds of stuff to do and I can't even leave my room without scarring someone for life.

Don't know. Seems an awful lotta people are naked today. Might just take a dip in the pool and try explorin' some hallways I haven't seen yet.

Might've just thought he was pissed since I'd had a bit to drink too. [In some ways she still feels so guilty that she didn't realise there was something wrong with that man and help him.]
