 So. Today's one of those days where the deities have their fun with us, huh? A little embarrassment for breakfast, with some awkward looks and quick switch overs to audio-mode before noon -- I get it, I get it. I've fallen into a world where Deadpool and Arcade run things; no sweat.  

[ A beat. He sounds calm, but slightly embarassed at the same time. ]

And let's not ignore the fact that I've been shanghaied off to a dimension where I'm pretty sure is an elaborate set-up by the Beyonder to mess with my life again, because that's just what he does when he's bored, and to top it all of I'll randomly be cursed and won't be able to do anything about it any day now.

Let's not forget the face that everyone I know is apparently from some similar-but-not-quite alternate reality, and, oh, to top it all off I've apparently been here before and don't remember jack all about it ever happening.

So, yeah, square one. You can start by telling me how you know who I am.

[She's waiting when he gets there, dressed sharply, unlike some people who decided to come nude. Her heels look like they could kill people]

[ He scopes out the place before arriving, taking the a nearby rooftop to check things out. Part of him still can't believe he's doing this -- another part of him is curious. What could she've meant by teacher? ]

Oh, well. Things can't get worse, right?

[ When he sees who he thinks might be Saya, he goes over to introduce himself, offering her his hand. No Spider-sense yet. ]

Ms. Wallace, I presume?

[ He's wearing what he arrived in, essentially. The brown NYU hoodie looks comfortable and worn, and no one wears a pair of jeans and sneakers like a superhero. ]

[She looks up at him; her smile is a little fixed, but it doesn't quite reach her eyes. She doesn't mean him any harm at all.]
