Oh hi. This doohickey was in my pocket. I'm...not really sure how it got there! But it has a lot of buttons and I figured if I pushed enough of them, something would happen. Probably a terrible life decision but I've been known to make terrible life decisions from time to time.

I am lost and confused and apparently I missed a few huge details in the time it took me to travel from where I was to where I am. I might be damaged goods.

...........................I get the feeling you don't mean curse words. Because I know a few of those. Okay, okay, more than a few.

No, no. Curses, that go through the City. They're like-- hmm, days when suddenly everything you can draw comes to life, or where you feel the need to put on a fancy dress even if you hate dresses. Sometimes the entire city itself changes to fit a curse.
