For anyone who needed me-
I'LL BE AT THE BAR
[ooc: Turlough maybe be starting to become a familiar freckly face at the shadier bars in town, above ground and under. Please do come find him/judge his life choices.]

[His face is choir-boy innocent even as he hooks his ankle around Jack's under the bar.]
no subject
Not here.

[Turlough unwinds himself from his leg and picks up his drink, and in no time at all has located a free booth in the corner and settles into it. Are you coming or what?]
no subject
He's also somewhat wary again, looking around and re-checking the circumstances as he settles into the seat across from him, but not too much. No one would bother them back here, right? Or is it more Turlough he should be worried about?]
no subject
So yes, Jack. Be very worried.]
Why did you come here at any rate. It's obvious you're not enjoying yourself.
no subject
I was worried.
no subject
[That hits him like a freight train, and he can't help but curl into himself for just a moment before the scowl is back on his face.]
I can look after myself.
no subject
[Because for all the things he knows so far about him, all the things he's been told outright and the things he's had to surmise for himself, one of the things he has no idea of is whether or not he can handle himself in a fight -- and while the City is rather calm and lacking in violence and horrors compared to the city he'd left behind, it's still one of the most important things Jack thinks he can know about any person he deals with, especially someone like Turlough.]
no subject
[He may not look like much, but he's smart, and he's crafty, and sometimes that gets you further.]
I think I need another drink.
no subject
[But he trails off there, no longer sure of how to end that sentence. He sighs instead and runs a hand through his hair.]
So do I.
no subject
[Turlough slides out of the booth and makes a beeline for the bar. The drinks take long enough that he's made up his mind by the time he gets back. This time when he sits himself down it's right next to Jack again.]
no subject
Thanks.
no subject
[Turlough stares at him for a few moment before he finds that interesting place right behind his ear and presses a slow kiss onto it.]
no subject
Turlough-- [But he doesn't pull away or move any hands to stop him, so it's more an exclamation of surprise than protest.]
no subject
[No promises he'll do anything about it. He trails a little lower down his neck between words.]
no subject
[But he says nothing else, and he doesn't move again either, except to tilt his head back -- to take another drink, of course, not at all to give Turlough more to work with, even if that is exactly what the motion also accomplishes. As long as he's just kissing for now...]
no subject
no subject
But as long as he has a hand on him, he doesn't find himself worried by any of it, for better or worse.]

We should... [He swallows, his fingers lightly digging into Turlough despite himself.] We should take this somewhere else.

[/class]
no subject
That, uh— That's not really what I had in mind.
no subject
[Preferably slowly. He likes the way his voice gets when he's turned on.]
