[Steady footsteps echo through the empty street. A silhouette of a tall man is visible. He appears to be taking a stroll, hands crossed behind his back. As he approaches the cellist, illuminated by the lamp-post, he slows to a half. His lips curve into a thin smile.]

[The playing stops, and he looks up at the familiar face. He's not surprised.]

You overestimate your ability, Hagi. As Chevaliers, it was supped to be our second nature to protect Diva. Yet Solomon defied his. Do not suppose you will be any better at anticipating his...change of heart. The only thing binding him to Saya is a Chevalier's instinct to mate with the other Queen. Once that bears fruit, his obsession will end.

[His eyes narrow, even as his smile remains.]

How childish. Has it not occured to you that your life- and Saya's- could have scaled grander heights, had you joined our cause? Certainly, there would be far less threats to her existence.
