Yeah, this place really mucks around with time. That happened to a friend of mine—his mum was here while he was, but she was the same age as the rest of us. Bit weird.

Nah, not so bad. He's a decent fella, kinda hard to find most'a the time, but it's a chance I probably ain't gonna get otherwise.

He got me helping him with the weapons stuff, it's kinda what I specialise in. Every war needs a genus to provide 'em with the best weapons.

I suppose that's true enough. Can't fight a war without them, as much as I hate to say it.

I'm just as good at offensive magic as defensive, but I prefer the latter if I have a choice.
