These days come around and all that happens is that everything gets loud. But there are so many interesting people.

You may come into the Garage as long as you don't touch. Sticky fingers make enormous messes.

When it counts. Which is the vast majority of the time.

Then you ought to stay.

I was under the impression I wouldn't have much control over that.

Maybe.

Though the point would be moot, since I'd already be gone.

I'm not precisely what you might call a mechanic.

They do have potential, though.

Do you only maintain them to drive them?

I maintain them because I like them.

A hobby, then. Understandable, but impractical.

Not a hobby. A career.

I suppose there's something to be said for doing what you like as a profession.

I would agree.

There's also something to be said for making obscene amounts of money, but most people would hesitate to agree with that. Few people enjoy such public demonstrations of vice.

I'm very good at both.

And what motivates you to that end?

I don't like to be bored.
