[It's the usual background noise of the tea-shop. People sound like they're complaining to Charlie about the glitter everywhere and Charlie sounds like she's had enough. She's arguing right back.]

What, exactly, do you want me to do about the glitter? It's not my fault people are coming in, coated in the stuff. [A pause and then Charlie interrupts whoever is bitching at her.] And I'm not remaking your sandwich or your tea just because you said there was glitter in them. You consumed it all, already.

[More angry muttering from the customer and Charlie speaks again before the feed cuts off.] What is wrong with you? There's children two feet away. Watch your language.

[Charlie speaks to one of the npc staff, sounding tired and annoyed with the entire day.] I'm outta here. See you in the morning.


[And then she finds the device has been recording and she shuts it off.]

I need to learn landmarks around here. OH! Is the fountain okay with you?

...I guess. [She hasn't willingly been near it since being drowned in it.]

You guess...? [Frown. He can kind of get why. Similar reason he avoids a certain clearing in the forest.]

Um. Would the carousal be better?

[charring]

Yeah. That's closer. [Setsuna, you are the best.] See you in twenty.

[And he will be, all smiles.]

[Charlie hurries over, grinning more than what she's been doing in ages. And there's a bounce to her step, too, as she hurries over for a hug.]

Hi. How goes it?

[He notices, and gives her a tight hug in return.]

Well enough, I guess. You? You seem a little more...cheerful than usual.

I might be, just a little bit. [She's grinning, ear to ear and there's a hint of mischief in her eyes.] Try to guess why.

In this place? I have no idea.

You better just tell me, otherwise I'm gonna think you've lost it.

[charring]

Well, [Pause for effect and suspense before blurting out excitedly;] I'm dating again!

[beyourarmy]

Eh?

But what about Ed? [He gestures for them to head towards the nearest bar, walk and talk.]

[charring]

[She sort of shrugs at the question, walking beside Setsuna.] I can't wait for him to come back. There's no point. He probably never will and if he did, he most likely won't remember me. I care about him, but putting my life here on hold, waiting for something that's near impossible isn't fair to myself.

[He can almost understand that.]

Well, you have a point. I just don't think I could be with anyone else if I lost Sara. if She left me...I think that'd be it.

But if this makes you happy, what the hell. [A shrug as he opens the bar door open for her.] So who's the lucky guy, anyway?

[charring]

It does. He does. Merlin makes me ridiculously happy. [Charlie steps in, watching everyone's faces carefully. No super glittered people so far. She turns to look at Setsuna.]

We were handcuffed together for a curse last weekend and that's where things started. I mean, we'd been friends since we met but...I dunno. I think it just clicked that day.

[Setsuna's looking around, too. Those people wouldn't want to come to a bar, anyway. Right?]

Hmmm, never met this guy. Maybe I should. [He has a soft smile on his face, though.] This place comes up with some damn weird curses, though. Handcuffs? At least you're happy out of it.

[charring]

[Charlie's hoping not. Charlie will run for the hills if she sees anything sparkly and weird in here.]

Yep. An entire day, handcuffed to Merlin. We got tons of...interesting suggestions as to how to spend our time.

[She has the best friends. Really. Charlie places her order at the counter, only glancing at the bartender. It's crowded so she didn't get a good look. If she had, though...]

[Eyebrow lift and teasing tone.] What kind of suggestions, huh?

[Setsuna did, though. And there's some flowery background going on beyond one person. And big sparkly eyes....]

Uh, Charlie? I think we might have to just take our beers and walk out the door. Don't look at anything, though, just keep walking.

[charring]

Oh, let your mind wander to naughty places, Setsuna. Those kind of suggestions.

[Telling Charlie to not look never works. Because that's just what she did and she startles, flinching away with a slight shriek from the super kawaii'd bartender who had her beer.]

Do you have to go bottles of these? I want at least ten.

[She's going to need them. And then she points at something behind the bar.] And then that. I don't know what that is but it's blue and blue is a good color.

[It's all handed over a few minutes later and Charlie pays, grabbing the beers and hurrying out the door. She looks like she's almost going to die laughing.] Oh, my God. Hurry.

[He must laughs to that, and keeps his thoughts to himself. But he can think of a few things. And then Setsuna sighs a little, and maybe chuckles, when she notices their bartender.]

Ooooo! The blue drinks are always the best. [He takes that bottle to help. Then grinning, he starts for the door, fast.]</small. Hey, you think all of that glitter is infectious?

[Because of course he's cursed. He was more than halfway to Kawaii Town already.]
