I agreed, though, didn't I? It was stupid, but I agreed. And I had to deal with that.

Sometimes I think he knew I could never really kill you. He just wanted to watch me try.

Oh, probably. Like I said, he doesn't play fair.

Although we both came out a bit ahead, once that was all sorted out and you quit talking to rocks.

[He doesn't say anything to that. It wasn't that long ago to him that The Doctor even found out, and now he's joking about it. He shoves both hands int his pockets and keeps his eyes fixed on the floor.]
