[She's immune to the glower.] Yes you agreed to kill him or yes it was before you'd met him?

[Because while she can excuse one. She can't forgive the other.]

It was before I'd met him. And I rather think the video answers the first one. That's why you're here, isn't it?

Do you honestly think I wanted to kill anyone? You must have a very low opinion of me already.

No. I don't have a low opinion of you. I don't know you and I don't think you want to kill anyone. I think it was a means to an end you needed badly.

[She knows what that's like.]

[He pauses because no one is accusing him of anything for once and he's not sure how to deal with that. When he speaks again, it's a little softer.]

I couldn't see any other way to leave that place. I'd tried a million times before.

[She doesn't like what he agreed to and normally that would make him her enemy, but there's something to be said for the fact that he met the Doctor and didn't go through with trying to kill him, or at least she assumes he didn't since the Doctor seems to have both allowed Turlough to stay and be absolutely alive.

Plus, she understands how the ends can justify the means. She would have done almost anything to get back to the Doctor. There were a few things she did that she's not terribly proud of and yet she will defend it to her last breath.]

And then you met him, couldn't go through with it?

I tried a few times at first. Not very well, I don't think.

The Doctor likes you though. Trusts you. He wouldn't have let you live here if he didn't.
