That was a close one Banner [Bruce says to himself as he turns the video on and directs the comm at the fountain that is inches away from him. The video isn’t completely steady as Bruce shifts with a nervous energy.

He turns the video around to show his face. It’s pale, and he is making an effort to breathe slowly. He doesn't think the other guy would do any good at getting answers from people.]

Is it customary to almost be dumped into a fountain or was this arranged just for me?

Just wait around. With the curses, you probably will sooner or later. Sorry.

[Bruce's hands fidget out of sight. Curses are the last thing he needs.]

What's the worst anyone has done?

Uh...it's kind of hard to choose. But I turned into a homicidal puppet once.

[alwaysangered]

[Bruce's voice becomes more gentle and sympathetic.]

That would have been hard to deal with.

Actually, it wasn't so bad while it was happening—I didn't feel guilty about it while I was cursed. Not sure if that was because of the puppet part or the homicidal part.

[pause]

Um, but I felt bad afterward! It's not like I usually want to stab people!

[There is a nod of understanding.]

When you are back in your own mind it's completely different.

Right. It's not the same at all. [He nods, his voice gone a little quieter.] I was just glad I didn't hurt anyone.

But you probably won't have to worry about that. Most of the curses are really different.

That is a relief.

How are they different? Do they make people laugh?

They're really random. You'd never even think of some of the stuff that happens.

Some of it's funny, yeah—people have had to sing weird stuff before. And one time everyone kept forgetting stuff, and I forgot my pants. [pause] Other people definitely laughed.
