That was a close one Banner [Bruce says to himself as he turns the video on and directs the comm at the fountain that is inches away from him. The video isn’t completely steady as Bruce shifts with a nervous energy.

He turns the video around to show his face. It’s pale, and he is making an effort to breathe slowly. He doesn't think the other guy would do any good at getting answers from people.]

Is it customary to almost be dumped into a fountain or was this arranged just for me?

[There is a soft laugh.]

That would be the first time I've heard that in awhile.

[ Well, laughing's good at any rate. ] Yeah? I can say it again, if you'd like.

[ A beat. ] You're not an emperor, are you.

[He shakes his head.] No, I'm nothing so grand. I'm a doctor.

So long as you're not the Doctor, because we've got three of him already - which is really cool, so 'm not complaining, really - and one guy who wants the same name. What are you a doctor of?

[ Pause. ] I'm Amy, by the way. Amy Pond.

[alwaysangered]

Doctor isn't my name, it's my title. I'm a physicist and a doctor who treats people.

I'm Bruce Banner.

[waitedforyears]

That's good, 'cause we already have the Doctor, and there's only really one of him. Well. Three. 's a bit complicated.

So it's the same man three times over?

[Oh yes Bruce does sound intrigued because he wants to consider the science behind it it.

It earns her a smile.]

I might enjoy the welcome after all Amy.

Yeah. Same person. Different faces each time, though. Well, and different bodies. Vaguely different personality, but still the same person.

[ Pleased. ]

I need to stay and meet this person across the different bodies.

[Intrigue is getting the better of self preservation. It isn't particularly a good thing.]
