Right, I was going to ask - for something. [Another pause, enough to worry her lips between her teeth for a moment, then nod to herself and straighten up.]

This 'modern concept' [Air quotes] called 'dating' [Air quotes] how does it go? How is it any different from - from courtship, or wooing? And on that note, are things so different in this world? I am...beginning to think I come from what would be considered a very outdated place. There's so many things that boggle the mind here, but today I'm just going to ask about this one.

No, we do not have to set the metronome - it's just. I don't think we're very equipped or ready to have...you know. [Children. :|] And I may need - uhm, well, I haven't actually gotten advice from my leading female role-model and this, have I?

So I was just thinking that we could...not be adverse to taking it step by step so [rushed out] I could learn.

I'm not sure if there's a direct translation in English. It's just like darling, sweetheart. That sort of thing.

Ah... [Oh. That's - that's sweet, actually. Who would have thought she'd be the kind of girl who would get to have her heart skip a beat over being called sweetheart by someone else, in some other language? And he's been doing it for...a long time now.

Her hands move up to his neck, curling over the back of it and pulling him down.] Start here. [And without further ado, she kisses him.]

[And this he's perfectly happy with. They've kissed enough times now that it feels comfortable. They fit well together, especially when he brings his arms around her waist. It's still enough to make his heart stutter, reminding him why he's here.]

[mrsnose]

[If his heart stutters, hers is beating like the wings of a very busy bee. She steps closer, wraps her arms around his neck; sure enough, it doesn't take long for the shivers to begin - with the excitement of this talk they've just had, and the anticipation over what may come, and the fact that she would be perfectly content to just kiss him for an entire day, as long as it was a Sunday, it's really no wonder. They may have kissed enough times for it to be comfortable, but it doesn't affect her less, and that's most definitely good.]

[It's the same for him. It's familiar, but damn if it's not still exciting.

His hands start to drift a little, up from her waist, settling between her shoulder blades and finally up behind her neck, cupping her jaw in his hands.]

[mrsnose]

[She muffles a happy sighs against his lips, and as her fingers hook into the collar of his shirt - she finds it almost on instinct - her lips part; initially to grant access - but she feels much more emboldened now, that his words have assured her, so instead of that, she flicks her own tongue against his upper lip first, tentative.]

[Oh hello, there. He can't help but grin into her mouth before he deepens the kiss.

It always feels odd to him to be kissing someone in the middle of the room when there's a bed right there, so he starts backing them up.]

[mrsnose]

[If they are walking, if steps are being taken, she does it automatically and with little to no awareness of the fact until the back of her knees touch the edge of her bed.

Her eyes flicker open at that, but she doesn't pull away. She doesn't stop kissing him either.]

[He pulls back for a moment, leaning his forehead against hers. Just checking in.]

Everything going well so far?

[mrsnose]

[Why did the kissing stop? Oh - she blinks her eyes open again, nuzzles his nose with the side of her own.]

Couldn't be better. Probably...

[conesoldstober]

Probably? I must be doing something wrong.

[Excuse him as he attaches his mouth to under her jawline.]

[mrsnose]

[Well. Issuing a challenge certainly worked like a charm, didn't it? She notes that down for later use - and tilts her head back with a happy sigh, as her fingers run through his hair.]

[He keeps going, trailing from her jawline to behind her ear.]

[mrsnose]

Tal - oh - [She sucks in her breath, fingers tightening around his hair, twisting without thinking, more lost in the pleasure he causes than in the pain she might cause him.] Why?

[conesoldstober]

I'm still working out what you like. It helps if you're vocal.

[mrsnose]

That sounds possitively provocative...[And she's blushing for it. But, she pauses for a moment.] What am I supposed to say?

[conesoldstober]

[He stops to raise an eyebrow at her.]

We're in your bedroom, and you're worried about sounding too provocative?

[mrsnose]

...right. [She gives him a sheepish smile, shrugging in agreement. But, then - she pauses. There's something missing.]

I know almost nothing about what you like.

One thing you ought to learn about men, Sophie, if that there's very few things they generally actively object to in this situation.
