020: VIDEO
[Not long after midnight and the scrub room at the hospital looks like it's been deserted by one very messy surgeon. Crumpled, bloodied blue cotton lies in a pile on the tiled floor.]
YIP. YIPYIPAWOOO.
[And then something starts nudging the network device until it's leaning up against the heap. Something with a little wet nose, a little furry face, and ears. Not so little ears.]
YIP RRRRRR.
[Device placed to show the heavy swing doors, the creature (smaller than a cat, not quite as long as a side of A4) rushes headlong into them, failing to make any impact whatsoever. Scrabbling with his sharp claws has an equally dismal effect.]
AWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
[But at least they're soundproof.]
[ooc: GRAB BAG! Chase will be a fennec fox for the duration of the weekend, please feel free to run into him anywhere over any part of it, or video tag for yipping and contemporary mime. He will be let out of the scrub room!]

video;
(Oh, hi Carla, hi Carla, hi!)
[Small foxes get excited over small things. Chase shakes his head - it's mostly ears - and paws at the screen, a little composure and curiosity regained.]
Yip Yawoo?
(You went back to your place?)
[Language barrier aside, this is obviously a question from something with more behind its little beady eyes than the average rat]
video;
I can't help you, you'll be fine by Monday.
[Shrug.]
video;
(Relatively speaking I'm fine now. How about you?)
[Given the right tone, even these silly squeaks are leant (a small amount of) gravity. He crosses his paws and lays down in front of the screen.]
video;
No.
[She does not need to be sassed by a rodent, kthx.]
video;
(No, I doubt you are.)
[At least he's quiet, just watching. It's stopped Rex doing cartwheels.]
video;
Be quiet.
[Her eyes narrow slightly, she had mostly been refusing to have a conversation with a rodent with that reply, but now it's sounding a bit self-satisfied. Rex is slowly trying to ooze into her lap like he would with his former owner, and she has to pause for a moment to push him off onto the cushion beside her.]
video;
No reply, though. Just thump, thump, thump.]
video;
I'll call you, later.
[Maybe.]
video;
He raises his chin, a response that should put any suspicious to rest.]
Wooo.
(Try not to strain yourself.)
[It's always later than he'd like.]
