Hey. Thanks, by the way, to everyone who made Dean's birthday memorably. [He grins.] So, I heard about this whole influx of people. If anyone's looking for me, say hey.

[Okay, it's dangerous, sure. But since coming here he's been reunited with his mother and his girlfriend and he can't help but hold out a little hope.]

So what's with this place anyway? I was told you couldn't leave. That true? [ he doesn't like the sound of it, personally. ]

Creatively, people call it the City, and no, we can't leave. Well. I hear that time like this, when a whole bunch of people show up? They usually disappear after a few days. [He frowns. He doesn't like that, any more than he likes being trapped.] Um. It's not all bad though. I... Mom was here. And Jess still is.
