[VOICE]
Damn good thing classes are over, I'm pretty sure I'd drop out if I had another week.
[He wouldn't. You can hear the laugh in his voice.]
Anyone think this dance thing's gonna be worth going to?
[ooc; Frankie Dalton, highly motivated University student, headed for law school after this. Never made it to the plotting meme but am happy to arrange CR via pm / im / winging it. Tags from

[She leans over and presses a kiss against his cheek]
All done?
no subject
[Grinning, a little more brightly than his usual one. He slips an arm around her shoulders.]
no subject
[She lets him, nudging her head against his]
no subject
[He gives her shoulder a little squeeze, reassuring.]
You will, though. For now-- we're done. What do you wanna do?
no subject
[She leans on him, though]
But first, I have to talk to you about something.
no subject
[He nods easily, though the next sentence brings a bit of tension to his brow.]
What's up?

So you need... like, a citizenship... thing?
[He's thought further than that, really, he's just a little too stunned to manage functional words.]
no subject
I'm asking you to marry me, boyo.
no subject
[An answering sigh, and he still looks a little, you know, hit-by-a-bus.]
That's just, you know.
[Not very romantic. And very sudden.]

[The edge of panic, it's almost inaudible. Not because he doesn't want to, just because this feels like it's going all wrong. So, Frankie falls back on the classics. With a twitch of his smile coming back, he sinks to one knee.]

[Now he's grinning, taking her hand in his.]
Will you let me let you use me to gain your citizenship?
no subject
Yes.
no subject
That's more like it.
[And now he's doing his best to kiss her the way you're supposed to kiss someone you're getting married to. Which is, he figures, enthusiastically.]
no subject
Blind drunk?

[Standing up, he returns the arm to her shoulders. He's trying to keep on the lighter side of this spontaneous wedding thing.]
Gonna get a fluffy dress?
[He's willing to bet the answer to that is no...]
no subject
[Oh, hey, have another kiss]
no subject
[He's interested in her reasoning, but certainly doesn't mind the distraction from their conversation. If he pulls her much closer he'll have to pick her up.]

no subject
[Here have a kiss.]
