[ There are some fumbling noises and then the sound of a thump: someone setting a box down firmly. The Doctor mutters: ] Lot of extra folks about today. Strange.

[ Well, he's busy moving. Not that he has that much stuff to move. When you wear the same leather jacket every day... Anyway, feel free to catch him in the hallway or later tonight when he's out in the City. ]

[ ooc: Open for anything, fourthwall away! Voice, video, action, it's all good. ♥! ]

Ah, so we have met. I'm the one before the one with all the hair. [ Did you catch that small eye-roll? ] That's the Doctor you know, yes?

I think so. [ You must be the one with no hair. ] Not the one with the bowtie, though, yes?

[leathered]

Oh, he's here too. It's like a convention or something. [ He thumbs down the hall a little, to an apartment door a couple doors down. ] If you're looking for the one you know, he lives right there. With Rose.

[ He thinks that Martha might appreciate knowing about Rose in advance. ]

... Oh.

[ She doesn't want to look or sound disappointed. She wants to be like, "Oh, he found her! Good for them!" or at least like, "Oh? I've never met Rose. He talked so much about her, so I wonder what she's like!"

And she really is like that on some level - she hopes the Doctor is happy, and thinks it might be interesting to meet this girl who she's only heard of. But there's another level, closer to the surface, where she's maybe a little jealous. She could say all those things she wants to, but it would feel like lying even if it really wasn't.

So, she'll not say anything. ]

[ There were a lot of words that Martha didn't say in there. Nine understood that. And, perhaps unlike his future self, he didn't mind it. Sometimes you don't want to talk about things. So he unlocks the door to his apartment. ]

Do you want some tea? There's a teapot in this mess somewhere.

[thatkindofdoctor]

... That sounds great, actually.

[ She brightens a little bit. No sense wallowing in the angst when there's the possibility of tea to distract you!

Besides, she has all weekend. She can go say hi to Ten (and Rose)... later. ]

[ He waves her in and sets the last box he was carrying down on the kitchen counter. There's a teapot in here somewhere... He fiddles around for it and finds the last couple of tea bags to boot. He'll have to buy more later, but he doesn't really care.

He sets the tea on to boil (thankfully he'd already gotten the water turned on) and then turns around to face her, crosses his arms, and leans against the sink. ]

Bit of a full house over there right now anyway. Jenny's enough excitement for three people.
