[ A solemn looking man with a serious expression appears on the screen, an impressive fountain in the distance behind him, and the sounds of rushing water carrying over the feed. He's wearing a white turtleneck jumper with a suede coat, brown hair looking flat and dark circles ring his eyes. ]

There goes the search for Cap. [ He sounds defeated, which rarely happens, but he says it with a sarcastic tone, masking the weight he carries with him for so far failing to find Steve in the wreckage.

He fiddles around with the device as he looks directly at it, now, rather than at the surroundings around him. ] So, anyone out there gonna fill me in on what the hell's goin' on 'round here or do I gotta figure it out for myself?

[ The device beeps as they come through, and he grins, loving this one already. ]

Seems like I owe you one, darling. [ And then he realises. Oops. ] Y'got name to go with that beautiful face'a yours?

Less'a the sir stuff, huh? Unusual name y'got there, sweetheart, but it's got a powerful ring to it. Maybe we should grab a cup'a coffee sometime, when I got myself the money to pay.

It's a nickname, actually. My real name is Virginia. [ Why is she telling him this? Damn you Starks! ]

And if it's all the same to you, sir, I'm not sure coffee would be the best idea.

It does, you're right, but I'd like to think that you and me are less formal. We ain't got business going on, so why not stick to the pleasure, huh?

Virginia? Liking that. [ And because he seems to have a thing for giving everyone a special name, he mumbles thoughtfully. ] Ginny.

[ Oh now she's just making him pout pathetically. ] And why's that?

Pepper or Ms. Potts will do just fine, thank you. [ There is NO way she's letting him call her Ginny. Nobody's called her Ginny since primary school, and she'd like to keep it that way.

And oh great. Now she needs to come up with a reason she can't get too close to him. A reason besides "because your son would kill me" or "because you ruined Tony's life." ]

Remember that bit about me being from the future? I think it would be best not to risk any possible... complications.

Ah, you ain't much'a one for the pleasure, then, huh? [ That's okay, he can work with that, even if he is slightly terrified of strong, independent women. ] Ms Potts it is. Kind'a like the whole Ms thing. And I had a teacher once looked a bit like you, beautiful dame she was.

Complications? [ The man is confused. ] It's only a cup'a coffee, ain't never nothing complicated about that. In fact it's the only thing I can rely.

[ Damnit, she's all out of excuses. Tony won't kill her for just one coffee, right? He'd understand, right?

[ Pepper is terrified of that look. ]

My schedule is pretty flexible. Whatever time works for you, I'm sure I can arrange to be free.
