[ A solemn looking man with a serious expression appears on the screen, an impressive fountain in the distance behind him, and the sounds of rushing water carrying over the feed. He's wearing a white turtleneck jumper with a suede coat, brown hair looking flat and dark circles ring his eyes. ]

There goes the search for Cap. [ He sounds defeated, which rarely happens, but he says it with a sarcastic tone, masking the weight he carries with him for so far failing to find Steve in the wreckage.

He fiddles around with the device as he looks directly at it, now, rather than at the surroundings around him. ] So, anyone out there gonna fill me in on what the hell's goin' on 'round here or do I gotta figure it out for myself?

Never been much of a believer in what you can't prove.

[He would so badly want to show off to Howard, but he bites his tongue.]

There's this thing called the future- and maybe a handful of decades later, you find some technological advances or two.

[ He likes you, Tony, but he's very much suspicious of this slip. ]

Gotta say, that engine looked like more than some hobby.

[ Because all of these weird awkward moments, like he's missing something, are starting to get a little much for one guy, he skips ahead. ]

Liking the sound of these advances. What's the done thing 'round here, do we ask about future related stuff or what?

[Tony clears his throat, trying to stay level-headed and aloof about all this]

If you want the dirt on any of it, I wouldn't ask Steve or Barnes. They're absolutely clueless about anything that beeps. Regardless of how long they've been here.

[ He snorts out a laugh. ] Yeah, that ain't nothing new, pal, you should'a seen 'em when I tried to explain-- Well, let's just say it don't surprise me.

Technology's a fickle, picky, but talented woman.

That's usually how I prefer to think of it. Married to the job, less hassle, straight forward.

[ It should probably unnerve him, the odd way this guy keeps looking as if he's not on the planet, but he can't talk on that matter, so he just shrugs it off. ]

Uh-- Steve talked about you quite a bit, actually. So I have no doubts about that.

He did? [ There goes his ego inflating. ] It ain't all true. Well, most of it probably is, but some of it? Not so much. Depends what the big guy told you.

I'd say it'll come back to bite him in the ass one day, but seeing as he's Captain America--

Yeah, I hear you on that. Ain't the kind'a guy anyone can really come to hate, huh? He's a kid at heart.

It's a superpower all on its own, I tell you.

If I'd not seen footage'a him in action? I'd be concerned his naivety'd stand in the way'a the job.
