Stars, buildings, lights...

They're not just stars. [ Sarcastically. ] I'm sure some of them are even planets.

Saying there are stars in the sky is like telling me the world is filled with people. It doesn't tell me anything--

do you even know the name of the stars? constellations? planets, even?

What is that, in your picture? Near the center, just above the horizon.

Which one? The brighter light's Venus, the smaller one, Jupiter.

I have never seen them so bright.

It could be the photograph, but I've seen it that bright before. When we went camping in the Appenines, for instance.

Unless we have variant version of the same planet.

Possible, but I think light pollution is more likely.
