They don't seem uncomfortable.

What... exactly happened?

A curse! I mean, it's not like it was a really bad one. They're okay! They just...look funny.

My friend um...he was a kid...er...a little kid. And there was paint. And stuff.

So these curses are all different?

Most of them, yeah! It's like...even the ones that are similar tend to be a little different, but some of them repeat too. Like, there are weekends where all kinds of curses happen. And some of them are totally harmless but other ones can be pretty bad.

It seems random though, honestly. I mean, how they happen - and when.

Yeah. [ He considers that for a moment, brow twitching as Riku and Kairi chase each other at close quarters around his right foot, only for Riku's back right claw to get snagged on Sora's sock. Well. He crouches down to un-snag him. ] Guess this'll come out eventually. [ The pawprints of paint on the floor however...well those are actually kind of cute anyway. ] Wonder how they even pick what curses happen.

I mean, especially on these weekends. There's always so many.

We could always give them baths.

[ And then they'd need a Curaga spell or ten. He crouches beside Sora, watching him interact with the cats, but not trying to do it himself. ]

I dunno. I figure they like messing with us. Maybe they get bored on the weekends.

Was I too annoying as a little kid?

We could....I mean, it's dry but I guess it could help.

[ Noticing Roxas not quite joining in, Sora gently nudges Kairi toward him, and being of a better disposition - not unlike the people - she ends up rubbing her tiny cat head against Roxas' knee without much direction, just basking in the attention really.

Sora himself nods at the idea concerning boredom and shakes his head to the question, shakes it and smiles reassuringly. ]

You weren't annoying. I mean, not to me? You were just a kid.

[ Sora is just glad Roxas didn't pull...well, a Sora and climb into any zoo cages....which would have been okay except if it was say a dangerous cage.....in any case Sora's surprised it doesn't happen more often, whereas he gets slapped with that curse a lot. He likes it though. It's one of the curses that doesn't outright hurt people, so he'll always prefer it. ]

You seemed like you were having fun. I'm all for fun.

I did have fun. I think. I mean, I know I did, it's just a little hazy.

[Much like her namesake, Roxas prefers Kairi to Riku, and he picks the cat up without really thinking about it. She purrs in pleasure and he scritches under her chin, moving it this way and that to make sure he hits the right spots.]

You know what's kind of funny? This was my first time being a kid. I was never that young in real life. Not as just me.

[When he'd been that young, he'd been Sora.]
