[Buffy shows up in a little while wearing a pair of jeans and a tank top. She might look a little ruffled because she's been in the Underground hitting things.]

See. Few minutes.

[Dawn smiles and gives her sister a hug before pushing open the door to the sweet shop and she takes a deep breath of all the yum.]

Oooohhhh so much yum. [Said in a high-pitched squeaky sound as she bounces on the balls of her feet a few times.]

[Buffy returns the hug because she can use all the Dawn hugs she can get right now. She looks over at Dawn and grins when she bounces.]

Definite yum. In a handy carry out container.

[Dawn links her arm with Buffy's and they slowly start perusing all the baked goods in the display cases and the candies on the shelves.]

You know, this is kind of what I think Heaven would be like. You and me and a store like this. Mom is there too but right now is so close to perfect I'm not even going to complain.

[Buffy smiles a little at Dawn's comment. She still misses Heaven with an ache, but she's fairly sure that's not ever going to go away. People aren't meant to come back from there.] It's...sort of more this feeling than an actual candy store, but not far off?

[Buffy is going to get a bag and pour some chocolates into it to be weighed at the counter.]

Shush, let me keep my fantasy heaven in which there are yummy smelling baked goods and sour patch kids.

[The later of which she's currently putting into a bag of her own.]

Fiiiine. Fantasty heaven in tact. [She says it teasingly and loads up a bag with skittles.]

You know the sour skittles are better than the plain ones, right?

[She's eyeing the skittles bag.] Get some sour ones too!

Psssh whatever. The plain ones are way better. [But she's getting sour ones as well.]

[Dawn is off looking at the baked goods now because they just smell too good to resist. She's perusing the display cases as she talks.]

So how long were you and Pyro doing the dating thing?

It's...complicated. There was a curse and then...I don't know. A few months?

[After telling the person behind the counter that she'll take two chocolate eclairs and two red velvet cupcakes, she stands back to wait for her order and looks across the shop to her sister. It always sucks when guys leave. And don't they always end up leaving? Except Spike. He's always around here and there. And honestly, he's turned into a pretty decent guy. If Dawn weren't with Xander back home, she might still be crushing on Spike and jealous that he was still so Buffy attentive. But this isn't about Spike, it's about this Pyro guy.]

A few months is enough time to be all attached. Maybe Peter could be your rebound guy. He's... definitely rebound material. You know, worth the fun but probably not for keeps?

[And added as an afterthought...] ...or maybe Spike will show up. He's been much with the cool lately.
