[Maybe some people have noticed that the City has been short one timekeeper for the past few days, maybe not. Either way, he looks pretty shaken up when the camera switches on to show his face, and he's breathing heavily like he's just run a mile.]

Could somebody tell me... [He pauses, swallows, looks around; the camera shows enough of his surroundings to indicate he's near the fountain.] Someone tell me what day it is. Now. [And then he switches the feed off.

For those in the area, though, he isn't moving from his spot near the fountain anytime soon. His gun is out and set next to him, right next to his device, and when his face isn't in his hands, he's clutching tightly at a spot just above his left wrist. Whatever's going on, it looks as though he's had one hell of a bad day.]

( OOC: so, Raymond here was out of the City for the past few days for a canon update! for anyone familiar with his canon, he's now been taken from literally two seconds before he times out. for anyone who isn't . . . well, let's just say that's not a good place for him to be! )

I remember enough. [He runs a hand through his hair, trying to push it back into place, and grips the back of his neck.]

What... Did anything happen here?

Wednesday. 25th. Did you just get back?

Naw. Not much.

[Of course that's subjective.]

[He looks around for a moment before answering, though he doesn't look directly at the camera again.]

Looks that way.

[saidrepent]

Good. [He swallows again.] That's...good.

Are you doing anything right now?

Something up with your arm, dude?

[saidrepent]

No.

[The answer comes a little too quickly and too forcefully for it to be the truth, though.]

[Stephen raises his eyebrow very slowly at that. Whatever you say, man.]

How long were you home for?

[saidrepent]

A few days. [About the same length of time he's been gone, if not longer.] I... Yeah. A few days.

Is showing back here good or bad this time?

[saidrepent]

[There's a significant pause before he answers this time.]

I don't know yet.

[totallyinaband]

Yeah, well. I hope you find out soon, man.

[saidrepent]

[He nods, though there's something absent in the gesture.]

Maybe.

Working but I can get out. What do you need?

[saidrepent]

I don't know. [A distraction.] A drink, probably.

[After a slight pause:] You got any bandages or anything?

[orangetoughguy]

I'll take you to the hospital if I gotta. Stay where you are.

[saidrepent]

I don't need to go to the hospital. [He won't argue about staying put, though.]
