[ Howard is at home sitting on the couch in the living room of his apartment, the device set going on the arm between him and an empty cushion, the one in between covered with several photographs that he's looking down at with a thoughtful expression. His leg is jiggling, restless without work and pumped up on too much coffee, and he hates being without anything to focus on, so the pictures are a distraction. ]

What's with the photographs? Not that they ain't fascinating, but I don't get it.

[ He spreads the photos out, none of the pictures at the right angle to be shown on the screen. ]

Got quite a collection going on here, might make one of them album things - ain't that what people do? Wonder if I could get the pages to turn themselves.

Cap, Barney, Lena, Rhodey, Eleven, Tony, Pepper, Thor - there's ones here from all'a you, if you're seeing this. Interesting, too, I've gotta say.

[ He picks one up from the pile, smiles down at it as he shows it to the camera. It's a picture of the two of them at the fair, both enjoying themselves in a situation they might not, and it's a moment he treasures. ]

Oh, wow. Look at that. [She almost doesn't finish the sentence, a laugh erupting. It's a short one, but she's so amused.] I think I like this curse, Howard. You don't have a spare of that, do you?

Funny you should mention that - [ He mooches around, shuffling through the photos, and then holds one up with a noise of triumph. ] - 'cause I got two'a this one.

Is it anywhere as impressive as making an album with turning pages?

[ He's joking, he's never actually going to do that. Maybe. It depends. ]

Sort of. [Here, Howard. Charlie's carrying her device to her kitchen to point it at a wall. It's been painted with chalkboard paint and photographs have been taped on, picture frames drawn around them. There are dozens.] Pretty neat, right?

[ He leans in closer to the screen to have a good old look. ] I gotta admit, it's pretty impressive. Shows dedication.

That and I have a lot of time on my hands. I'm off work for a few days and needed something to do. [Plus the whole not needing sleep thing that comes with being City Dead? Really, really boring when Ed isn't around.]
