[Thanks to bloody reenactment of a distributing classic scene taking place practically in his own 'backyard' (i.e. the surrounding forest of that particular area), Luke has kept silent about and away from home so as to avoid inadvertently tipping off the Police Force to the house's existence. Incompetents do not welcome visitors make. There's also a concern that the discovery could open a door, both literally and figuratively, to poking about in his personal business.

Fortunately, Len-Len stuffed full with tribbles, won't need attending for awhile.

Unfortunately, today's curse has added to Luke's annoyance by raining down dozens of an ominous photo from his past throughout the City. There is a silver lining; no obvious link to him, plus it's mixed with others' countless snapshots.

He periodically checks the 'downpour' on the pretext of general curiosity. So far, nothing else of his has appeared.

Latest check turns up an unexpected follow-up to an earlier tantalizing memory.]

I'm free to hunt monsters in the Underground. But it lacks the requisite thrill of stalking human prey, I'm afraid.

There are humans on First Level. It's easy to tell the difference between the locals and 'meals' - topsiders.

I suppose my problem is -I believe Mr. Corpseblight said it - I'm indiscreet. In my world, that wasn't too much of a bother. But here, amazingly, every man-jack likes taking the moral high-ground.

It's even rubbed off on Solomon.

The trick is to not come across as threatening. Want to lull them into a false sense of security. Be viewed as a friend.

I'll be honest. My past experiences with ~~family~~ allies have been embittering.

As to potential allies here - I'm afraid I've been living in the moment. I haven't made any long-term goals that require amassing allies.
